"It's fine. You don't have to thank me." He whispered before adding, "I'm glad we haven't turned out like Malvolio and Violet."

"Me too." Hope nodded, stroking Ellie's face. "I can't imagine not wanting anything to do with you or Ellie here. They both clearly have a lot of issues to work out ,that I'm glad we don't have."

Henrik just gave a nod of agreement, mumbling, "I felt like I had lost a part of myself when Cameron's girlfriends family attacked us all and lots of people died. When I saw you I couldn't breath, it was equal too - worse - than what it felt like when I was starting to think Kota had died. I don't understand how Malvolio and Violet can be so bitter towards each other, you would think they'd have that kind of connection to each other too."

"They probably do, but they've both made mistakes, and they're stubborn and don't want to admit they're in the wrong. Malvolio needs to stop being pushy and forceful about his family towards Violet, and let things flow at their own pace, and she needs to actually let things move forwards, rather than being so scared of change. But they're stubborn." Hope whispered, before sighing and hugging him tightly. "I was with you every minute, I wanted to tell you I was okay, it killed me to see you in so much pain,"

"We haven't spoken about it. It's been ages now but we never spoke if it , and it's why I am so nervous of this guy being around you, remember that? If I'm ever horrible to him or about him unintentionally it's because I don't want to bury you again. I don't want to have to feel half missing or have nightmares about seeing your body or feel like breaking down when people say your name in a sentence without meaning to." Henrik whispered, moving Ellie into one arm so he could hug her back.

"You will never ever have to do that again." Hope whispered. "Ill always be here. Always. And you gotta promise me you'll always be around too. You're half of me, too."

(( Which makes the whole Mal and Violet thing sadder kind of. If Mal and Violet hadn't been alone for so long and then had family suddenly thrust onto them and all of these torn emotions and not knowing who's side to be on they'd probably be as sweet as Hope and Henrik are ))

"Course I will," Henrik mumbled quietly. "Don't worry about that."

((Yeah, possibly, but the opportunity for that's gone now :/))

(( Yup. I love finding these kinda things though, how a group of characters can be so similar and yet so vastly different at the same time ))

"You know one of my earliest memories is you telling me to hush." Hope laughed quietly then. "And I remember throwing stuff at you so you'd stop."

"I think that's mine too." Henrik laughed with a nod.

"You were always part of me then, too. Even though I didn't really understand what it meant."

He nodded a little bit.

Hope just hugged him again then, "and Ellie is always gonna be a part of you now."

Henrik nodded.

Hope just watched then as Ellie pulled way from the bottle and curled up I her fathers arm to sleep.

Henrik put the bottle down when she pulled away from it and smiled gently at his daughter.

Hope watched quietly before turning to Jordan when she realised he was still sat by Dakota. "Does your family know about the baby?" She asked quietly.

Jordan shook his head, "They aren't to know, they'll all tell our father or aunt and then… well…"

"Much appreciated if you keep it quiet then."

"I'm not stupid," Jordan muttered with a roll of her eyes.

"Some would disagree, considering you're sat in a room full of vampires."

"Who I'm going to be related to when your brother married my sister." He shrugged.

"A wedding which will be full of vampires... Original Vampires." Hope mused. "You up to that? Being the only... edible person in the room?"

"Is that a threat?"
