"Call me that again," Luci murmured softly. "And I'll take the pleasure of choking the life from you body myself."

"I can tell you. You do realise this, don't you?" Theon asked quietly. He and Anastasia were sat on the windowsill on the outside of the shop, though Anastasia was keeping her distance.

"Where your not so pure blood comes from."

Anastasia shook her head. "I'm not going to be tempted."

"I'm not making an offer. I can give it to you as it is, without taking anything in return."

"I don't want to know," Anastasia said firmly, eyes on her feet.

"You have a habit of being here earlier than me, Theo, I should just give you a spare key really. You should co-own it, you're here enough too." Nevia mused as she wandered down the street, reaching her hand out. Silenty asking if she could take his, figuring the fact they were together didn't change the 'can't touch him without permission' rule.

Theo leaned down to pick up a mug by his foot. "I've already been in. I don't need a key."

"I caught him walking through the wall like it wasn't there and then he made me coffee too," Anastasia added.

"That ungrateful wench tipped it out as if I'd done something awful like poisoned it. To be fair, I did, but only a minor one."

"Mm, I'll give you a key anyway so you don't just steal my coffee. You owe me a coffee then, if you made her one?" Nevia asked with a quiet laugh, hesitantly sliding her hand into his.

"I don't steal just your coffee. I steal from the fancy Italian place down the street as well." Theon took her hand, impatiently tugging since he wanted to go inside.

Anastasia stood with an exaggerated sigh, joints and bones softly popping as she stretched.

"Mm, you need to steal me some from there. I've only tasted it a few times but it's lovely." Nevia chuckled, leaning up to press her lips to his as she unlocked the shop door and headed inside. Calling over her shoulder to Anastasia, "Why aren't you stalking my brother, Stasia?"

"I'm here on business. You actually do a half decent job of making working orbs in here and I'm after a nasty as fuck Geo today. I need to ground him." Anastasia was wearing a thick hoodie instead of her normal hunting attire and moved with a slight limp and wince as she stepped inside.

"I can get you proper coffee from anywhere in the world," Theon said, sounding proud. "Better than a cheap imitation."

"Why haven't you gotten me proper coffee then, handsome?" She asked with a quiet laugh, grimacing a little at what Anastasia said, "Mm, you got money to pay me?"

"I only get myself the best things." Theon poked her gently in the ribs. "Keep your substandard coffee."

Anastasia leaned against the counter, pulling out a wad of notes and counting them out, one after the other. Some of them had fresh blood on them, which she muttered angrily about, but eventually she had exactly two thousand and thirty seven dollars, forty two cents on the counter.

"I am literally going to need everything that can buy me," Anastasia said, sounding dead serious and swiping hair from her eyes.

"What if it were my birthday next week? Could you get me some fancy coffee then?" Nevia asked with a laugh, jumping when he poked her in the ribs. Glancing to the money and widening her eyes, "Woah, what the hell are you going up against to need so much at once?"

"Adramelech," Anastasia replied, with a wide, humourless grin, and Theon accidentally punched a hole in the wall in his hurry to twist around and face Anastasia, back stiff and face twisted with unreadable emotions.

"Woah, easy, Theo," She whispered with a small frown, moving her gaze over to him and frowning deeply as she studied him. Glancing between them and asking, almost silently, "Who's that?"

"Fucking still alive, that's what." Theon sneered angrily, upper lip lifting in a silent snarl, baring sharp teeth.

Anastasia rolled her eyes, "To put it better, so you understand, he's a the King of Fire. Like, literally."

"Your reaction gives me the idea you wouldn't mind me selling Anastasia thing's that'd help me kill him then." Nevia whispered quietly to Theon, moving her hand to rest it above his to try and calm him slightly.

"Buried him myself. Doesn't understand how to stay dead, obviously. As if she could kill him with fucking children's toys." Theon's hand twitched violently underneath hers.

"What's the worse that'll happen if she doesn't manage it - other than me having to put up with my brother crying over her getting killed?" She whispered quietly, "It's her choice if she wants to attempt it, and that is a lot of money. I could get a bigger store... better - I could get some of that fancy coffee you were talking about." Sighing softly, Nevia slid her fingers between his and lifted his hand up to kiss his knuckles gently.

"He'll drag me out of her memories, and then maybe try to kill me too? Considering I tried to kill him and thought I'd fucking succeeded. And no matter what humans make, you can't fuck with a King and succeed, it's just asking for death. You can stock better and bring in fancy ass coffee, but it won't stop him from burning you up from the inside out. And I don't like my human squishy things boiled, I like them as they are."
