Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Take it this way. You're human as human can be. I'm not. One part of your brain, versus all the other parts, is saying no. One day, that voice might be louder than the others and you'll realise what a monumentally bad idea all of this is." Theon grinned, flashing sharp teeth but it didn't entirely hide the fact he was slightly nervous of that fact. "Or maybe you won't and I get to keep all of you. We'll find out."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Nevia watched him for a few long moments, thoughtful. Eventually she pushed the first aid box to the side and moved to perch herself on his lap; wrapping her legs around his waist to position herself as close as possible to him. Arms following suit around his torso so she was embracing him, opting for the embrace over saying that she loved him.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Theon let out a long, slow breath, before pressing his face into the crook of her neck and shoulder, his good arm curling up and around her back to hold her close.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"I've got you wrapped around my little finger just as much as you have me, scary Theon." She hummed lightly, moving a hand up to smooth his hair gently. "I'm like a demon tamer, they should give me a tv show." She joked.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Only if you want me shot on live TV," Theon muttered, muffled, into her shoulder. "A real demon, on the loose? Anarchy. Murder. Chaos in the streets..." he pondered. "On second thoughts..."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"No one could ever get through you," She replied confidently, stroking his ego as another means of reassurance from his previous nerves. "On second thoughts what?"
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Go for the TV show. Let me have my murder and chaos." Theon hooked his chin over her shoulder, pressing the side of his head to hers so he could lift his hand to pet the back of her neck and hair.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Nevia closed her eyes in response to the affection, whispering after a moment; "If you ever get yourself killed whilst I'm still breathing I'm going to be so angry at you."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"I could be just an arm and a leg left, and the rest would still grow back," Theon murmured. "There's nowhere for me to go."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Luci has ways to destroy you, both of us know that and he has no regard for - He can't comprehend how your more than what he sees you as. Your disposable to him, everyone is and... Never mind, you know all this. You're just so much more special than everyone else sees and sometimes I wish other people could see it."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"By the time Luci has had enough of using me as a meat puppet you'll be bones in a grave," Theon said. "A second, a day, a year, it's all the same to him. The day he wants to rearrange my everything, you'll be long dead, don't worry."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Mm," She hummed, only to acknowledge that she had heard as she allowed the topic of conversation to die. From the main shop floor, the bell would of rang as people entered causing her to sigh and grumble; "Thats the real estate agents. Time to learn how much this place is worth."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"If I hear them give you a bad quote I'm going to come through and eat their hearts." Theon dropped his hand to cup her cheek and kissed her quickly. "Use it as incentive. Tell them you have a very angry demon on a very short leash looking for just the smallest excuse."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"I thought real estate agents were similar to lawyers in the fact that they don't have hearts?" She grinned at the kiss, getting to her feet.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Then I'll eat the black pits left behind. Yum yum. Don't let them step on you." Theon let his arm drop back down. "Or I'll come out, my shirtless, bloodied, one armed self and make at least one of them wet themselves."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Nevia just laughed lightly at that, stretching her arms over her head as if the challenge she faced was similar to that of a marathon and headed out onto the main shop floor.

((Goodnight!))
"Knock 'em dead babe!" Theon shouted encouragingly after her.

All would of been relativeky quiet for the first twenty minutes or so in which the two middle-aged men would of walked around ths main shop; inspecting the quality of the walls, the floorboards and measuring the dimensions of the space. Occasionally they would of came across an old blood stain - left over from many of the previous incidents that had not been able to remove - and grumble something to each other.
"It's all old, half the floorboards will need replacing and it all needs repainting. Even if you aere to sell it to another shop owner then it isnt up to standards, love." One hummed to her when they had finished looking around.
"It's quirky." The other explained. "Even in it's shape, little corners everywhere but these days quirky just doesn't sell."
"If I were to knock down some walls to make it bigger, redecorate it all what would it be worth then?" Nevia asked quietly, grimacing as the men pondered; exchanged a look and then replied simutaneously;
"Seven."
"Thousand?"
"No, hundred." One of the men replied almost gleefully, smiling even wider when they saw Nevia's expression. "Though, perhaps for a few favours we could put it on the market for a couple of thousand instead."
"I- excuse me? Favours?" Nevia questioned, shofting her weight uncomfortably as the taller man approached.
"Favours." The man repeated, reaching a hand forward to brush fingers along her upper thigh.
"N-n- Theo!"

Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Theon opened the door so hard it tore free of the top hinge. He probably looked a sight, one arm missing, half naked, one side of his torso still covered in drying blood. He crossed the room in what looked like too few steps for the space he covered, slinging his arm around Nevia's shoulders and dragging her back into his side probably a little too hard. He grinned, far too wide with far too many teeth.
"So. About that offer then." He began, arm so tight around Nevia he almost had her in a stranglehold. His hand was clenched into a tight, slightly trembling fist. "You actually have something decent for the wonderful love of my life here, or am I going to have eat all your organs one by one."

Re: The Demon Trapping Society
Nevia yelped gently in surprise at the force used to drag her back, though she happily shrunk into his side; making herself small beside him. Body shivering from the fear the men had induced. Eventually mumbling out; "No.. No I don't want any deal with them. Make them leave, get rid of them. Please..."
The mens eyes both widened, the shorter one turning and bolting for the door whilst the other stood his ground and snarled; "Look, freak, your girl needs to realise this place is a dump and the market is crashing. It isnt worth anything. If you both need money maybe you could try selling her."

Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Oh, honey," Theon crooned sarcastically. "You're awfully mundane, aren't you? Never read the articles, never learned what it means when a demon can hold human form. I'm older than your oldest ancestor, and I'm going to eat you alive for even suggesting that." He let go of Nevia, stalking forward. "And when you're nothing more than another smear on this floor, that rotten soul of yours is going down, down, down into the pits of hell and let me tell you, I have a lot of friends down there hoping for fresh meat."
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"You don't scare me." The man responded calmly, though his body language suggested otherwise as he stepped backwards and reached behind himself for something he had stored in his back pocket. "i am friends will people who have killed hundreds of you, I'm no fool. I know how to hurt you just as quickly as you can hurt me."
Nevia swallowed thickly when Theon let go of her, backing herself into the corner of the room where she felt safest.

Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"A real estate agent with friends." Theon laughed, almost a giggle, glancing over his shoulder at Nevia as if to ask 'are you hearing this?' There was something manic in his eyes and if Nevia caught sight of his face, she'd probably realise that, from the moment he'd walked into the shop to defend her, it wasn't Theon any more, other wise he would have been more gentle when pulling her away.
Re: The Demon Trapping Society
"Oh now thats following stereotypes. Estate Agents are allowed friends."
"Oh please," The man snorted, pulling a small stanley knife out of his back pocket and holding it up in a trembling hand towards him. Looking the least biy threatening.
"Careful Luci," Nevia whispered a long minute after catching the difference in his expressions. "I only just bandaged up Theon's arm, I don't want to have to redo it. I don't have the money for new ones."
"L- You just called him Theon? What the hell is this?!"
