"Well dismissing how he's feeling isn't exactly going to help him either, is it?! You were all over him when he didn't follow Zosia home! You can't be on his side one minute and then be like that the next!" Adam hissed before mumbling to Tatia, "Can you go speak to him?"

Tatia nodded and headed up, knocking on his door

Cole didn't respond from inside his room, laying on his stomach on his bed with his face buried in the pillow. Buried underneath all of the covers.

Tatia just went in and lay beside him, pulling him into he arms.

Cole tensed initially before relaxing and curling into her. Turning his face to bury in her shoulder, trembling violently.

"You can let it all go, you're safe with me. I'm here, you're safe." Tatia whispered as she smoothed his hair down.

"Have to hold it in even more now," Cole replied, swallowing thickly and shaking his head. "No one cares..... No one cares."

"Hey, shush. I care. I care more then you will ever know.... And I understand buddy. I understand how terrified you are. I know, I know how awful it is."

Cole just shook his head, "Th-They don't c-care." he sobbed, "T-They want me to a-act like it ne-never ha-happened and I get n-n-nightmares a-about it m-most nights." he cried.

"They do. They do care, and so do I, we all care and worry about you so so much."

"They don't! You just heard her! She doesn't!" He sobbed.

"I think she's out of other things to say honey."

"They want me to just get over it, they all just want me to get over it." Cole sobbed.

"Shh, we know it's not easy honey, we know."

He just swallowed thickly as he trembled violently, "Th-this is why I-I didn't want to t-tell a-anyone."

"It's all okay Cole. I understand how you feel, I do. It's good I know, I can help you."

He shook his head in the negative in response to that.

"I went through it too, over and over, and I'm okay now, you'll be okay, I'll help you be okay."

He trembled in silence then.

"I'm here Cole, I'm here."

Cole just buried himself against her.

"You're gonna be okay..."

"I'll always be fucked up..."

"No you won't, no..."

"Yes I will, and no girl'll ever like me because I over analyse things and don't believe in that crap and flinch whenever they move towards me too fast or too suddenly and flinch away at even a fucking handshake."
