"I said brat; you're a brat, get off me." He muttered, hitting her hand away.

Rather the get angry or upset she busted up laughing. "Brat. Is-is that the best you can do?"

"Please just leave me alone." He whispered shakily. "I'm tired of repeating myself... Nothing is funny, don't laugh."

"No, no Drake you don't get it." She paused taking a breath to stop her laughter. "When we were kids and argued you would shout at me that you hated me, I would hug you and tell you I loved you. Then you'd call me a brat and shove me away like you just did..." He understood what she was getting at, right?

"Well I don't remember so it's a coincidence, just leave me alone..."

"It's no, it's something. It's got to be..."

"Shush," He mumbled, closing his eyes tiredly.

Hayley just ended up smiling settling back beside him. "Get some rest, I'll be here when you wake."

"I wish you won't be.." He mumbled as he began to drift off.

Hayley didn't say anything else just turning her head away from him and letting out a slow breath.

Drake was soon fast asleep.

She let him sleep eventually turning to watch him sleep only leaving the room when Jack showed up and made her leave to hunt and clean up.

About half an hour into Jack's arrival, Drake blinked his eyes open as he woke. Turning his head to the side and jumping slightly when he saw him.

"Hey kid," he whispered casually with a small nod.

"Hi..."

"How you doing?"

"I want to be left alone,"

"I've been told. Care to tell me why that is?"

"Because no one will help me die; just want me tortured here so I'd rather not be stared at like an object."

"Ah, so that's what this poutyness is about."

"Stop disregarding my feelings," Drake hissed.

That isn't what I'm doing, isn't what she was doing wither you know."

"It is what your doing though, you're all being selfish... Just enjoy watching me rot away. It's torture..."

"Torture huh? So you'd rather give up the get well and have a life again?"
