"I know." He sighed. "The most we can do is be there for him."

She nodded. "And let them enjoy themselves at events like this."

He nodded. "That too I suppose." He looked behind her and he smiled slightly. "At least we don't have to worry about one of our children." He nodded to where he could see Christian with his arms around Michelle, pressing kisses to her neck.

She turned to look at what he was and smiled. "It took a long long time for him to be this way."

Elijah nodded. "But I'm glad he did."

"So am I. He's so happy now."

He nodded in agreement. "They all will be eventually."

Marie smiled and nodded. "I know."

He smiled. "You know, it's a bit strange that our marriage is what our boys aspire to want." He told her quietly. "Caleb and I could never remember wanting to have the same marriage our parents had."

She looked up at him. "We do have a wonderful marriage Elijah."

"That we do." He kissed the top of her head.

She lifted her head kissing him back soft and slow.

He kept the kiss.

Marie deepened the kiss just a bit.

He matched his kiss to hers.

She stepped closer sliding her hand into his hair.
