"Mm." Kol whispered as he closed his eyes.

"We can take it as slow as you want Klaus." Ana gave him a small reassuring smile before getting out when they got there and heading inside for a table.

"Thanks," Klaus replied quietly, getting to his feet and following her into the restaraunt.

"It's a move you have to make though, to live your dream." LJ pointed out quietly, "You'll kick yourself if you don't go for it."

Karl was silent then.

---

"Maybe you should head up to bed," Astrid suggested gently.

Kol nodded and got up, heading into his bed and collapsing.

Eri moved to snuggle into him.

"I might kick myself for going."

Ana sad down at a table, looking through the menu and ordering when the waiter came.

Astrid got to her feet and wandered after him, "Want me to stay with you or...?"

Klaus ordered the same as her.

Karl held her close.

---

"No you wouldn't because it's not like you'll lose anything if you go, we'll all still be here. If you don't go you will lose something though."

"We're gonna be parents, together..." Eri whispered.

"Appears we have more in common than just art." Ana smiled.

"I suppose..."

"Do as you like." Kol mumbled sleepily.

Astrid just kicked her shoes off and laid down beside him, pulling the cover over them both and wrapping an arm around him gently. Pressing a gentle kiss to the back of his neck.

"Obviously," He replied with a quiet laugh, "I'm not overly fussy with food though,"

"Mhm," Karl hummed with a small nod, "It's going to be a challenge, a good one though."

LJ just let out a deep sigh.

[Phoenix]

"Mm, definitely. No sleep, no time for anything, sounds fun." Eri laughed, teasing a little.

Karina curled up against him.

"Not a foodie then," Ana hummed, "anything else about you? I want to know you..."

Kol slipped into sleep

Astrid just let out a soft sigh, watching him sleep in complete silence before rolling over and pulling her phone from her pocket. Texting her father: How're you, daddy? We haven't spoken in a few days.

LJ frowned a little bit at her, "Should we go and tell mum and dad now? Get it out of the way?"

Karl laughed a bit in response to that, "We should start sucking up to people so they can babysit."

"Much to peoples disbelief I don't talk about myself that often, not anymore anyway, so you'll have to ask specific questions. I need to learn more about you too, don't forget, so anything you ask me I want to know from you."

[Phoenix]

"Where do you work? I'm a sales assistant at a store near my apartment... Last name? That's a good one to know, mines Altar, my parents wanted my name to alliterate. How old are you? I'm twenty, almost twenty one, what's your family like? I have a six year old sister who idolises me for some reason and two very overbearing parents..."

"Mm..." Karina grimaced.

"It sounds awful, but I don't work. I paint, sell the paintings and that gets me enough money to live on, I don't really count it as work though. My last name is Mikaelson. My family.. it's a big, complicated family, I have three brothers, two older and one younger and I have a little sister - all half siblings, technically. My parents are long dead, I have children too. Though you'd be shocked by the amount so I'm not going to tell you that, it might put you off me." Klaus answered with a laugh, "As for my age, I'm twenty-seven."

"My mum and your dad, Adam and Adrian are the immediate ones. Maybe Klaus."

"Come on," LJ sighed, getting to his feet.

I'm okay, as okay as I can be... I think Kol just turned his emotions back on, so he's been a bit of a mess for the past few hours....Mum slapped me earlier.

[Phoenix]

Want me to come over?

"You think klaus would?"

"It doesn't overly surprise me, you having children, you were married... How many?"

Karina sighed and got up to follow him.

"Seven," Klaus replied quietly, "Vanessa, Mia, Hope, Henrik, Lucas, Kira and Sarai."

"If we sucked up enough maybe," Karl replied with a small shrug.

LJ wandered down the stairs in silence.

[Phoenix]

Ana choked a little on the sip she was taking from her drink. "Woah, seven. You must've had the eldest pretty young, mm? Woah, how old are they?"

"Mm, possibly." Eri shrugged.

Karina followed.

"I told you that it'd put you off me," Klaus replied with a grimace.

"Hasn't put me off you at all, just surprised me a little."

Klaus just nodded subtly in response to that, "They've kept me strong through some tough times,"

Astrid sat herself up a bit and kissed Kol's cheek before sliding out of bed and heading down the stairs. Heading into the livingroom and sitting herself down on the sofa with a small sigh.

"He probably wouldn't, it was just an idea, I suppose."

"I can imagine, that's some support unit."

A few months later...

"Morning." Ana whispered to Klaus, rolling over and kissing him gently. "It'd be nice to spend the night at your place for once, I'd like to see your place other than just your studio... Hint hint." She chuckled teasingly.

"Dad? Astrid?!" Eri called as she and Karl walked through the door of their parents home. 

"Eri, hey." Kol greeted from the kitchen, "finally you've come round rather than insisting on phoning, it's been months, I was beginning to think you were avoiding me or didn't trust me or - holy shit." He'd began talking, though cut himself off when he'd walked into the living room and saw his daughter, his shocked reaction coming a the sight of her bump. "And that's why you've been avoiding me...

"M' sorry...I really didn't want to but I needed you to believe me..to understand..."

Astrid wandered down the stairs, rubbing sleep from her eyes with a yawn. Having not gone to bed until late the previous night, grimacing at hearing Kol's swear and asking, "What've they done, pretty boy?"

"Nothing bad," Karl assured as he waited for his mother to enter the livingroom ahead of him.

Astrid just raised an eyebrow before heading in and walking to Kol's side, grimacing at seeing him bleeding and just taking the knife off of him before looking to Eri. Eyes widening slightly, "Oh wow. Congratulations."

"Mm, morning." Klaus greeted sleepily before mumbling, "It's a big house, you'll never be able to see all of it - ever. Not that I'm boasting or anything. Besides, you have a more comfortable bed."

"Sorry for calling you a nut job.." Camilla whispered with a deep sigh.

[Phoenix]

"We wanted to tell you earlier, but we just didn't know when." Еri whispered.

"I, uh." Kol shook his head and wrinkled his nose.

"Well I can't compare considering I've never been in yours." Ana chuckled, running a hand down his chest, before following her hand with kisses.

Klaus just laughed a little bit, closing his eyes at the kisses and humming, "It isn't that impressive, not really. Most of the rooms are full of things that only interest my family."

"We wanted to be sure that we wouldn't lose the baby too," Karl added, sliding an arm around Eri's waist gently.

Astrid just gave a small nod, interlocking her fingers with Kol's gently.

[Phoenix]

"You got my daughter pregnant?!" Kol exploded then, his anger directed to Karl, face vamping out.

"Only one thing here interests me at the moment." Ana hummed, rolling so she was straddling him, kissing him deeply.

"Yes, I did." Karl replied bluntly, "I really don't see what your issue is, we are married, we spoke a lot about it beforehand. It's no big deal at all."

Astrid just let out a small sigh, "Pretty boy..."

"Mm," Klaus hummed, kissing her back and moving his hands to knot in her hair.

"My problem is that you - "

"It's not like he did anything I didn't tell him to." Eri rolled her eyes.

Ana grinned and kissed down his neck, pressing her hands to his shoulders and her lips to his as they faded to black.
