"Course not, but if your bit going to bother to come then I' going to say that and pretend to hate you so it doesn't hurt anymore then it already is." Astrid muttered, adding, "Apparanrly I'm being selfish for being upset you have to go and acting like a kid... An' apparantly I annoy Kol. People keep taking there stress out on me and I know I should just suck it up and put up with it but it's not fair. I'm stressed too."

"None of them hate you," Klaus assured gently with a sigh.

"They do, I'm a horrible mother, I'm not surprised they hate me. I'd hate me."

"I never said I wasn't going to come."

"Sshh," Klaus soothed softly, "Come on Tat, lets book some tickets to Hawaii. The quicker we get Mikael out of our hair the sooner we can go home and everything'll go back to normal."

"Good..." She whispered quietly.

Tatia just nodded, though made no effort to move as she continued to lean into him.

"I'll be there as soon as I can then,"

"Okay," She whispered, before telling him the address.

Klaus just sighed deeply.

"See you soon Astrid," he said before hanging up.

"M'sorry."

Astrid closed the phone a moment later and got to her feet, walking to Kol and handing him his phone back quiet as she muttered another quiet thanks.

"What for?"

Kol simply slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"For being so pathetic all the time."

Astrid went to brush her fingers over his hand but hesitated before changing her mind, not wanting to risk being pushed away again. Him not having spoken to her since the car ride to the airport before they got here.

"You're not pathetic,"

Kol headed downstairs to get a bloodbag from Rebekah's nearly depleted supply, going to sit out on the patio, putting his sunglasses down as he entered the sun.

"Don't lie, we both know I am. And maybe now I have the excuse of hormones but the rest of the time I'm just plain pathetic."

Astrid just watched him go, ten minutes later sitting down beside him and just glancing to the sky quietly. Sighing softly as she moved her hands to cover her face, whispering after a moment to Kol, light-heatedly, "Tou show the sun who's boss,"

Klaus shook his head.

"My mother did that like a thousand years ago when she created the sunlight rings."

Tatia just rolled her eyes at him,"You know I'm right,"

"I know..." Astrid grumbled, "Was making a reference to before all this kicked off, when you were saying why you like the beach.. Never mind." she sighed.

"Now you are being pathetic, starting an argument over it." Klaus muttered, "I'm going to have agin and Sage look after the girls, you book a flight."

"I know what you were talking about Astrid."

Tatia just nodded,moving away from him to put her phone to her ear.

Astrid was quiet then, just letting out a small sigh.

Klaus got to his feet and headed out of the room without another word.

Kol watched the sun for a while before getting up, "I'm gonna go crash, jet lag." he mumbled before he headed up to their room.

Tatia got up and left the room too, once she got connected to the airport, not wanting to disturb the kids any more by talking.

"Whatever..." She grumbled when he left, just closing her eyes.

Around a day or so later, Adam was waiting at a small café near Rebekah's house, having agreed to meet up with Astrid there so he wouldn't be intruding on Klaus' family.

"Lets get this over with," Tatia mumbled quietly as she stepped out of the airport in Hawaii, slinging her overnight bag over her shoulder as she walked.

"Sorry I'm late, got lost a few times." Astrid grumbled quietly as she sat herself down opposite him, adding quietly, "I've got a terrible sense of direction."

Klaus walked alongside her quietly, sliding an arm around her waist and keeping her close to him protectively.

"S'no matter, I wasn't planning on going anywhere."

"Hotels within walking distance, I'd rather not risk a car again." She told him as she too slipped an arm around his waist, leaning into him slightly.

Astrid just gave a small nod, "Not the point though, really," she whispered.

"We still have time left Astrid," he reminded her gently, "I'm not gone yet."

Tatia walked with him quietly, before going into a hotel around twent minutes later. She checked them in and headed up to their room, opening the door with the key card and gesturing for Klaus to go first.

"Not long though," Astrid replied quietly, adding, "I'm hoping things'll go back to normal between me and Kol afterwards, though. He's stressed and tired, is ignoring me because of it."

Klaus followed her and then headed into the room.

Tatia made sure the room was fully locked and secured before she flopped onto the bed, dropping the bag and pulling Klaus down with her. "We have a hotel room, guaranteed no interruptions and a full day..." she mused quietly, looking at him with a small smile.
