He followed her, remaining silent for a few minutes before whispering, "For an hour I will be completely open with you, okay, so, anything you wish to know I suggest you ask it."

"I do not wish to know anything if that is the case. If you wish for me I know something then you shall tell me on your own time" she answered quietly walking past the guards and into the mansion.

"I am having a mental war with myself, fumbling over my words when I am trying to tell you something important and it is frustrating me." Michael shrugged.

Nina waved at her maid when they entered the mansion and she led him towards her suite. "What do you mean by that?"

"I think I would much rather do this," Michael whispered, sitting beside her and moving her hair back from her face before pressing his lips to hers.

Samantha couldn't help he blush that spread across her cheeks even as she leaned forward softly kissing him in return.

"Because in the past people whom have wanted to help me have only done so in order to gain my trust and hurt me or humiliate me in some way."

Michael relaxed as soon as she kissed him back, sliding an arm around her waist.

She inched closer hesitantly moving a hand into his hair.

Lorenzo was completely silent then, though it was only for a few moments. Soon enough he pointed out, "That was not a question, m'lady."

Michael slowly pulled away after a few moments.

She looked down at her feet shyly.

"Age I look. What I am, I haven't always been it - four years ago one of the people that claimed to be my friends collapsed in front of me. They had been ill, apparently, I reacted and lashed out at the first person I saw... it was a woman, and the instant I touched her she chanted some odd thing that I still don't quite understand and then disappeared. Then I was death."

He glanced up at the sky, just as shyly.

"I-I am not sure I entirely understand this. Do you kill people?" She asked softly sitting down on the small couch.

Lorenzo was silent for a few moments, before whispering, "No... I - I remove peoples souls, sometimes before they die so they don't feel the pain of their death though sometimes I am too late for that and have to do it afterwards. I bring them to the crossing point, where they make their choice."

"I know we can not, I do not know what happens."
