"Yes we should." Violet chuckled.

Zosia frowned at that and walked to her mother to shake her awake. "Mum! Why were you and grandpa having a baby?!" She asked as she shook.

"Wh-what?" Olivia grumbled as she woke.

A few months later ...

"I bet you're thinking how stupid I am for wanting my wedding at night in a dark cave filled with candles." Eri whispered to Astrid as they were in the car on their way to the cave where the wedding was being held. She pushed her hair behind her ears, it'd been left in it's natural state of loose curls which fell almost to her waist. Fiddling with her flowers.

"Mum said they're on their way." Adrian told Karl with a small smile, looking round at the candles. "I didn't know you had a daughter named after mum." He mused when he saw the names of Karl's children on a set of the candles, purposely avoiding looking at the ones with Tatias and Kols names on.

Olivia was leaning against her chair, as Zosia rested her head against her mothers bump.

Dex's doctor checked him over in silence with a small frown.

"Yeah," Karl confirmed with a small nod, "She was nothing more than the mother I'd never known back then, but the name just suited my girl. She had a personality like what I had heard from my father that mums was."

Adam was watching the candles with Kol's and Tatia's names. Unable to take his gaze off of them, a frown plastered across his face.

"You both okay?" Tamara asked Zosia and Olivia quietly as she sat beside them.

"No, not at all." Astrid replied, shaking her head in the negative. "It's whatever suits you, isn't it? I think it's quite romantic really, having it in a cave. Just candles to light it up, I imagine it's going to look really nice."

"Please say he's going to wake up eventually, that's he's starting to get better." Scott pleaded quietly.

"Five. Wow. That's a lot of kids..." Adrian murmured as he read the names out. "Astrid, Magnus, Thadin, Throst, Svien... In addition to Eri's Ragnar and Ari that's seven nieces and nephews I never got to meet."

((I went back and checked for the family tree haha...))

"Is now the right time for that?" Adam murmured gently.

"Mm, just tired. It's been a long day and a hard pregnancy." Olivia replied with a nod.

Zosia just nodded with a yawn.

"That was the goal. Romance, intimacy... And it's in mystic falls which is home. Three things I have with your son..."

"He's deteriorated actually... I'm sorry."

Karl just gave a small nod in response to that, "Mhm, they would of liked you though. Mine definitely would of, anyway, I wouldn't be able to say for Eri's."

Tamara just nodded a bit in response to that, musing gently, "It seems Zosia's just as exhausted as you are."

"I'm glad you're happy, I'm glad he's happy." Astrid replied with a small nod.

"What?" Scott asked, shoulders tensing, "How?"

"Getting sad and upset... Today's supposed to be celebrating."

Adrian smiled a little at that.

"Mm, she's been up all day." Olivia nodded.

"He makes me very very happy." Eri whispered.

"His brain activity is decreasing."

"I'm not getting sad, or upset." Adam denied with a shake of his head, "I'm just looking at their names, that's all.. Just thinking of them."

"How've you and Tamara been since your big day?"

Tamara just nodded subtly.

"I'm sure they're thinking of you too..."

"Good, good. Great." Adrian grinned.

"When are you and Adrian going to start trying?" Olivia asked.

"I'm sorry. But the scans show it's decreasing."

"He doesn't want any," Tamara replied with a shake of her head, "He doesn't want to because of his mental illness even though he's been fine for a while now. It's fine though, I'm not going to push him into something he doesn't want."

Adam just gave a subtle nod in response to that, whispering, "Thanks for being around for mum, by the way."

Karl smiled at that, "That's good. You're happy, hm?"

"Good," Astrid smiled.

Scott shook his head, taking his brothers hand in his and whispering, "You're going to give him more time, aren't you? Please don't turn the machine off.... Give him more time, he's a fighter, you don't know how strong Dex is."

"As long as you can continue paying the bills we'll do all we can." The doctor nodded.

Eri got out of the car when they got there and walked to the entrance of the cave.

Adrian nodded. "Very."

"But if you want children surely you should talk about it?"

"I'm always going to be around for your mother."

"In all honesty I don't mind." Tamara admitted, "I have him. Children would be nice, but I'll be able to cope without them. Everything is as perfect as it needs to be for me."

Adam just nodded subtly in response to that.

"That's good, that's really good." Karl whispered.

"Should I go in, make sure they're all sat down and then come back to get you?" Astrid asked.

Scott just nodded in response to that.

"We still have hope he may wake... He may just not be the Dexter you know when he does."

Eri nodded as she smoothed over her dress.

"Children at nice, amazing." Olivia smiled as she rubbed her bump.

"Are you and Eri happy?"

Adam was quiet then.

"That doesn't matter, he'll still be my little brother." Scott replied quietly before asking, "Can I have time alone with him, please?"

"Of course we're happy, we're getting married today. Why wouldn't we be?" Karl asked with a quiet laugh.

"Make sure you visit me and Rian? I'd help you look after your little ones." Tamara replied quietly.

So was he, glancing over his shoulder at her mother when she came in. Sitting himself down the other side of Zosia when she told them to sit down.

The doctor nodded and headed out.

Olivia nodded with a small smile.

Adrian just shrugged with a laughed.

Zosia took her uncles hand.

"Shit." Scott choked out then, squeezing Dexter hand tightly and sobbing out, "Get better, Dex, please, please get better.... No brain activity and you'll be a vegetable.. you won't be there, not really... You'll be alive but only because of the machines, every other part of you would be gone and I know you're stronger than that. Come on, keep fighting, don't give up.."

"Ready to go in?" Astrid asked quietly when she headed back to Eri.
