"Rhea, would you like to dance with your daddy after your grandma and grandpa dance? You can stop him being grumpy, hm?" Sarai asked her daughter quietly.

"I know you do, Jasp," Mia whispered, "How about you go to bed an hour earlier than normal so you have an extra hour of reading time? Then you still read, but you go to sleep a little earlier too."

Astrid just let out a deep sigh and shook her head, passing Maisie over to him before getting to her feet and wandering over to Kira. "Kira, can we talk?"

"I want you there," Adam replied with a small nod.

Klaus smoothed her hair down gently, kissing the top of his head.

"No... Unca Lucas is gonna be dancing with her." Rhea mumbled.

"Okay..." Jasper nodded after a few moments thought.

"Yeah sure, what about?" Kira hummed as she turned away from speaking to Thomas.

"Thanks son." Kol smiled.

"I love you Nik." Tatia whispered. "More than anything."

"So you dance with daddy and show her who's the better dancer, or me and you can go up." Sarai suggested gently with a small frown, "Come on, princess, don't let her ruin your good time."

Mia smiled at that, "Good,"

"Ciaran and Siobhan," Astrid replied quietly.

Thomas just let out a small sigh at their conversation being interrupted, turning and wandering off.

Adam just shrugged in response to that and pulled his father into a hug.

"Then no. You can't." Kira said curtly before jogging after Thomas. "Hey, sorry. I thought she wasn't going to be butting into my business." She said with a frown before pulling him into a hug. "We miss you tommy."

"No. She might step on me."

"I don't mind being sleepy though mama."

Kol hugged him back.

"I know I'm a pain in the ass sometimes but I don't mean to be. I'll try get better for us."

"If Ciaran wasn't just being dramatic earlier and really does feel unappreciated, if he spirals down and turns out like Adrian... I don't want you to feel what that's like, Kira, that's all I'm saying." Astrid whispered with a sigh before shaking her head and walking back to Dexter.

Thomas just let out a small sigh ad hugged Kira back, whispering, "I've missed you too,"

Sarai just let out a deep sigh, whispering, "I'm going to go to the toilet," before getting to her feet and heading towards the toilets, grabbing Vanessa's wrist as she walked past her as she silently asked for her to come with her so they could talk.

"I mind you being sleepy, it's not good for you," Mia whispered.

"I really have missed you dad,"

Klaus just laughed a little bit at that and whispered, "There's no pressure, I love you, better or not."

Malvolio just squeezed her hand in return.

Dex sighed and wrapped his free arm around her.

"I know the family is chaotic and messy but me and your dad miss you. You'd be welcome home any time."

Vanessa frowned and followed her in. "What?"

"It won't kill me."

"I've missed you too son."

Tatia just smiled brightly. "Wish my mum was here to see this. She approved of you, said if she had any say she'd have let me marry you like we wanted. Wish I could see her one more time and let her know I love her. Let her know I'm finally free of my past"

Malvolio let out a deep sigh.

"You mind putting up with me whining for a few minutes?" Sarai asked quietly with a small frown, "I... don't want a lecture for wanting some advice so if you don't want to hear me out then it doesn't matter."

"I just don't want her to lose one of her children because I almost did and it never goes away," Astrid sighed as she leant into Dexter, "She wouldn't even let me speak to her."

""I'm happy where I am," Thomas whispered quietly, "It's nice, relaxing. There's no drama or siblings causing trouble."

"You've been asleep, you haven't felt it like I have." Adam replied with a weak laugh.

"It'll mean that you won't feel well more often though, won't enjoy the day time as much." Mia replied with a small shrug.

"I wish I could of brought her here for you," Klaus replied with a deep frown.

"It's fine, it's okay. I know I'll never see her again. I just wish I could. Wish I could just hug her one last time."

"Go on." Vanessa mumbled.

"I know honey, I know. We just miss you so much. Need you around sometimes for the stability. I think Siobhán really needs a stable brother at the moment too, but if you're happy where you are then I'm happy for you Tommy, just wish I'd see you more."

"I'm not not enjoying the day."

"She's probably just sensitive."

" I know son, I've still missed us being close though."

"Christian isn't comfortable being here, he feels threatened and unnerved by the family but to be honest he hasn't seemed happy in a while. He's never been too affectionate, but, he's never gone this long without telling me he loves me other than the times we've actually had breaks. He hasn't called me beautiful in forever... He only smiles when Rhea encourages him too and Rhea isn't too happy here today either, she's terrified of Mica and I can't make her feel better so I can't make her smile. I want to be happy today, I want to see my fiancé and my daughter smile and speak to Chris about what our wedding might be like when it happens and... be happy. I just want them to be happy and their not, they're both just so unresponsive and I don't know how to make them happy." Sarai ranted quietly. "I miss what me and Chris were before I lost him, when he used to treat me to things and call me beautiful and tell me he loved me before he left and kiss me. He's closed up completely and some nights at home when he's down I just hold him and it's rare he even reacts to that. He's so closed up and I don't know why and normally that's okay because he's always been reserved but it's never been this bad. I miss his smile, I miss my little girls smile. I miss being able to see you and Lucas and Kira and all of you when I've had a bad day, or being able to phone people just like that, bloody time differences."

"Mm," Adam hummed quietly in response to that. "I have too."

"I could of been wanting to tell her anything though, they've been living with her Dex. I could of wanted to tell her anything that was vital and she just stormed off." Astrid sighed.

"That's good," Mia whispered.

Thomas frowned deeply and shook his head in the negative, "I'm happy where I am. I miss you all sometimes, but I'm happy where I am. I have friends where I am, I don't here."

Klaus just sighed softly

Kol ruffled his hair.

Jasper just nodded then.

"She would've been happy for me, I think." Tatia hummed quietly.

Vanessa frowned as she listened. "Sometimes... People change Sarai. And they change for the worse. And it's not anybodies fault. Look at uncle Kol and Astrid. There was just too much damage done there. Maybe you need to look at yourself and Christian from an outsiders angle and realise that maybe there's too much damage there for him and you to carry on." She said as gently as she couldn't.

"We're not like Astrid and Kol," Sarai replied with a shake of her head, "I'm not going to give up on him, I can't give up on him. His whole world has just been turned upside down so many times and he's still adjusting. I can't turn his life upside down again by leaving him." she sighed.

"Do you?" Thomas asked quietly.

"Mm." Astrid hummed with a frown before asking Dexter quietly, "Can we dance?"

Adam laughed a bit.

Mia smiled.

"Of course she would of been happy for you, love,"

Malvolio leant into her a little bit.
