"Mm," Klaus hummed simu in response, not reacting much more then that. Most of his focus was on Vanessa as he would lean his head back to look at her every few moments.

"No I'm not," Astrid replied with a frown.

"She'll be fine," Tatia assured him, "I trust your desicion that we did the right thing for her. She's our little fighter, she'll be okay..."

"Ya kinda are sweetheart."

"Nu uh, you just admitted you were crazy, or weren't sane at least, you are an Original and I always call you pretty boy." She hummed

Klaus just gave a small nod.

"She got that from you, determination." Tatia mused.

"Still sounds like a douche bag-y name."

Klaus didn't say a word.

She just laughed a little and shook her head, snuggling up to him and resting her head on his shoulder, "I've always called you pretty boy," she hummed.

"So I've noticed."

Tatia just held him a little closer, using her free hand to gently rub his back again.

"You've never complained about it, either,"

Klaus leant towards her touch.

"You never complain when I call you sweetheart, so I never felt reason to.

"S'all gonna be okay Nik." She soothed

"Mm, I'll stop calling you it if you don't like it." Astrid told him quietly.

"I know,"

"I'm not fussed,"

Tatia moved to sit by Vanessa then, smoothing her hair gently.

"Good," She whispered.

Klaus watched silently.

Kol was quiet then.

A few hours later, Vanessa started stirring and mumbling. Tatia was sleeping quietly at the side of her and so didn't notice.

Quietly, Astrid used her thumb to rub the top of Kol's hand, whispering, "This is probably an extremely inappropriate time to bring it up. But, so long as everything is okay here in the next few days can we go house hunting?"

Klaus soon reached over to brush his fingers through Vanessa's hair, "Hey Nessa," he greeted gently.

Vanessa opened her eyes and rubbed them with the back of her hands. Yawning softly and sitting up, a movement that woke up Tatia.

"Maybe, have you spoke to your mother about moving yet?"

"No, not yet." Astrid whispered quietly, "There hasn't been a chance to yet."

Klaus moved himself onto the bed beside Vanessa, asking her gently, "How're you feeling Ness?"

"Like I've been hit by a bus, or a train, or a car..." Vanessa groaned. Tatia sat up and watched Vanessa quietly. "Why do I feel so bad daddy?"

"You should speak to her first, it's not something that should be sprung on her," he kissed the top of her head.

"That dart gave you a 24 hour curse, Ness," Klaus whispered, pulling her gently onto his lap and smoothing her hair down, "I know what it's like, that curse though yours is a mild version of it because it's so short. You'll be all better soon."

"Mm," Astrid hummed quietly in agreement.

Vanessa nuzzled her face against his neck, and just before she sank her teeth in Tatia bent down and picked up a bloodbag from the floor, passing it to Vanessa. "Daddy needs his blood sweetie," she explained gently, rubbing Vanessa's back as she tore into the bag with her teeth.

"And she's probably going to be against it, because in her head you'll always be her little girl." Kol mused, "So don't get too angry with her when she protests."

"Can you go ask Kol for more ansethic for her, Tat?" Klaus asked her quietly, continuing to smooth Vanessa's hair down.

"I know she'll be against it, that's why I've been hesitant about talking to her about it. Especially with all the bad things that have been happening recently."

"No!" Vanessa protested, pulling away from the bag quickly and dribbling blood down her chin, "Don't make me go back to sleep, please daddy." she begged. Tatia frowned at that and gently smoothed her hair down.

"Okay baby, if you don't want to then we won't."

"Leave it a week or so yeah? Let everything get back to normal."

Klaus grimaced a bit at that and whispered, "It's the only way we can make you stop hurting, Ness," he told her quietly, "It'd only be once more and then you'll be all better."

"Okay," Astrid replied with a nod.

"No! Don't make me, please don't make me daddy!" Vanessa shook her head, "It's horrible, please!"

Kol wrapped an arm around her and kissed the top of her head.

"Okay," Klaus whispered, "Okay Ness, sshh, don't worry."

Astrid smiled a little bit and leant up to press her lips to his.

Vanessa leaned into him heavily, putting the bag back up to her lips and drinking from it. Tatia glanced up at Klaus with a worried frown.

Kol kissed her back gently.

Klaus just sighed softly and glanced to Tatia, returning her frown.

"You're a really good kisser, you know," Astrid hummed against his lips, adding, "I haven't told you that before."
