"Most of them probably weren't fireproof."

"A majority of the were. Nathan just didn't like me having independence in case I grew a conscience about killing people."

Blaze leaned down to kiss her. "Meet at the front entrance this evening?"

She nodded.

"See you in a few hours."

By evening, Blaze was waiting in the foyer, a small bag by his side.

Snow walked to him.

Blaze picked his bag up, smiling as he saw her. "Ready to go?"

She nodded.

Blaze moved to take hold of her hand.

Blaze walked to the front doorway with her, humming cheerfully.

Snow walked with him where they met up with Garnet.

"Ready to get rid of us?" Blaze joked quietly, holding the door to the courtyard open for the two of them.

"You mainly." She told him playfully as she walked through the door with Snow.

"Wow, such nice friends you keep, Snow," Blaze deadpanned, though he was smiling. His smile dropped as he noticed Nathan across the courtyard, who was just returning from training.

"Oh well, I love you." She smiled, kissing his lips.

Garnet smiled softly at how loved up they are, and she noticed Nathan.
