"Not if this is the outcome."

"And if you don't, Nathan drags you back to the palace."

"Even he's not so heartless to think I don't need time with you over this."

"He is."

"He isn't. He's somewhat heartless but not that bad."

She buried her face in his chest as the door opened.

Blaze bristled and immediately twisted around so he could push her behind him, so he was between her and the door. He kept one hand behind him so she could hold it if she wanted.

"Come little tiger, you can't hide forever." A mans voice called.

Blaze bristled quietly, the temperature ratcheting up a couple of degrees.

"Blaze too hot." She whimpered against him and she pressed herself against him when she heard the door opening.

Blaze took in a few breaths and met it drop again.

A man strode in. "Hello Blaze."

Blaze immediately punched him in the face without thought, hand burning hot.

He held his jaw, but didn't think anything of it, instead he suddenly pulled Snow in front of him.

Blaze immediately snapped his hand, just grazing past Snow's face to grab the man's shoulder. His face had gone blank and he had gone unnaturally quiet.

Snow closed her eyes, though she whimpered when the man who had hold of her, suddenly sank his canines into her neck, throwing her to the floor. "She isn't even that good in bed anything, god snow spirits are meant to be the best." He mused, before he seemed to melt from Blaze's grasp.

"If you want something with spirit you try fire," Blaze hissed angrily, quickly moving to gather Snow in his arms. "Snow deserves better respect than that."

She whimpered against him, still having her eyes shut, so she didn't who had picked her up.

"Shush sweetheart, it's me. It's me."

She snuggled against him.

"I'm going to remember that bastards face."

She whimpered, snuggling against him.

"Next time I leave if I absolutely have to, Delilah will be staying here. Do you want to talk to a girl like Delilah or Garnet? Will it make it better?"

"Garnet knows, she's been here everyday trying to get me to eat....No such luck."
