Tatia gave her one last squeeze before pulling away and handing Astrid her coffee.

Matteo: Have you started fires before? he asked sitting down beside Malvolio

Caleb: And why not?

"Mhmm," Malvolio hummed in confirmation.

"Because we can do this any time of day." Mia hummed, "Lets do something that requires the morning, or the sunlight at the least."

"Thanks." Astrid whispered as she took the coffee and had a sip or two of it.

"No problem." Tatia smiled, heading into the living room and sitting down on the couch.

Caleb: Head to the beach?

Matteo: Now that's cool! Do you still light fires? Have you ever been caught in one, caught setting one or anything else like that? Does my mom know? he asked turning to look at Malvolio with pure interest now

"Mm, she knows. No, I've never been caught in one, not that I've myself though, anyone who has ever caught me I killed." Malvolio replied with a small shrug.

Mia nodded. "You drive?"

Astrid sat down beside her.

"Anything else you want to get off your chest?"

Matteo: Do you still set fires? Can I go with you next time?

Caleb: I haven't in a long time but I can.

((If he's a hybrid does he still shift?))

"He's all paranoid I want more kids, he brings it up.… all of the time. He doesn't believe me when I tell him I feel it's perfect now, that I don't want anymore." Astrid whispered.

"Good, you drive then." Mia grinned.

"Mm, maybe…"

"I think that's just men," Tatia sighed. "I tease Nik with it all the time but I'm afraid he doesn't believe me when I say I'm only teasing, even though he says he does."

"Mm, it's weird though because he's the one that always brings it up."

"He was born in a time where a man could expect to have as many as twenty kids, depending on how many women they married. You were born in the same time too, and he's probably thinking that you want a large family too."

"I know that." Astrid muttered quietly, "Just bugs me that he doesn't believe me, that's all."

Tatia nodded, "I'm sure he'll realise in time that you meant what you said."

Astrid just gave a small nod in response.

"You don't want any more, do you?"

Astrid shook her head, "I told him from the beginning just one or two, I wasn't just saying it because I thought he'd freak out. I was saying it because I meant it."

"Well you got your two," Tatia mused with a faint smile.

Astrid gave a small nod, "I've been having dreams of my eldest recently, mind, that he turns up on the door one day. That he isn't dead. It might just be because it'd be tomorrow, his birthday so I'm thinking about him, but still."

Tatia nodded a little at that, "I used to think of you all the time, dream about you too."

"It's only since having the boys I've noticed it even more," She admitted, "Realised even more everything I missed out on with him." Astrid whispered, before asking quietly, "What happened in your dreams about me?"

"You ran away. You'd always run away from me, I'd be chasing you through the woods and you'd just keep running. Occasionally you'd be fully grown, but you never let me see your face.."

Astrid nodded a bit, whispering with a quiet laugh. "Maybe he'll come back one day, something happened and he's still alive and we don't know about it. I mean, you thought I was dead and you'd never see me, right? So it's possible."

"Maybe, but don't hope for it Astrid, you'll just be letting yourself in for a hell of waiting." Tatia said gently.

"I've always been hoping for it secretly." She shrugged in response, "More so recently for some reason. I bet you hoped for me…"
