Violet started a conversation up in Russian with the witch on the other end, speeding through it rather quickly though a few names were mentioned as she spoke.

"Mia, uh, wants me to be human whilst I'm pregnant to bring back her boyfriend..." Vanessa said quietly as she snuggled back down into bed next to him. "But I don't think I want to and that makes me a horribly selfish person doesn't it?"

"No, it doesn't make you selfish…. I think you should do it though, so long as you rest a bit more than your doing I think it'll be fine. This particular baby has been okay so far, you've been feeling well, right? It's your choice, but I think - in concern with the baby's health - it'll be fine."

Malvolio watched quietly.

"Well so far but we lost it's sibling, and I don't want to lose this one too. Being human will just make that more likely and we're getting so close to having our baby and I don't think I could bear to lose it now..."

Violet nodded and hummed a few times in response to what was being said, before saying what was obviously a goodbye and hanging up.

"I can keep you both safe," Leon whispered, "All you need to do is rest and the baby'll be fine, you won't lose it." he assured before shrugging and adding. "I think you should help your sister, if I'm honest."

"What'd they say?"

"We have to wait two lunar cycles until the eclipse. Since mum's been dead so long it's going to take an eclipse's worth of magic to bring her back. Two moons... around two months."

"What if it's not a matter of keeping me safe though, and it's more of a matter that my body can't deal with it?" Vanessa asked quietly. "I'm scared of losing our baby Leon..."

Malvolio just wrinkled his nose at that, "That's ages," he mumbled.

"We won't lose our baby, Ness," Leon promised quietly, "You're bodies strong, just like you are in general. I think it'll be fine."

"I'll think about it, if you don't moan about us celebrating your birthday." Vanessa mumbled as she curled up into him.

"It's better than never Mal, what's two months after the thousands of years we've had to wait?"

"True," Malvolio nodded.

"Fine, I won't moan." Leon agreed quietly, wrapping his arms around her tightly and holding her close.

"At least we finally get her back," Violet grinned, sitting down on her bed and bringing Kottr up onto her lap so she could stroke him.

Vanessa smiled a little at that, "That means you can't moan at the party later on this evening either." she hummed.

"We should probably tell dad now, or shove a letter through his door or something." Malvolio mused lightly in response to that.

Leon just frowned but nodded.

"Why don't you like your birthday Leon?" Vanessa asked quietly. "What's so bad about it?"

"Well you have a family now, and it'd be great if you started celebrating them again... It brings us all together."

Leon just gave a small nod.

"This doesn't concern the rest of the family one little bit." Violet almost hissed, "So any judgements they make will be wrong."

"Holly even made you something, she's so excited for you to see it."

He laughed a bit at that.

"But, she wont be up yet for another few hours so..." Vanessa gave him a small smile then, pressing a kiss to his lips.

"It only concerns dad and that's through us, since he's having no contact with us it doesn't concern him either really. It's not like mum was in love with him and is going to try and win him back, she's just going to be with us and be our mum again."

A few minutes later Vanessa pulled away with a small gasp, simply pulling Leons hand to rest on Her stomach where the baby was moving.

"We finally get out mum back…"

Violet hugged him back tightly.
