Leon smiled brightly at that, pulling her down into a hug.

"Why would my dad compel us? We don't exactly get along so there's nothing he could have compelled."

Vanessa grinned and hugged him back, flinching a little when Karina grabbed her hand and started to drink from it.

"Kari, no." Leon scolded, moving Karina away from Vanessa.

"Just this one time I'll put some in your cup." Vanessa sighed and headed into the kitchen.

"Look, if you like me then okay, whatever. It's weird but whatever but you don't need to make up lies about my dad to make me like you back. I'd have had more respect for you if you'd have just said you liked me."

(( Maybe Kol dies, as drama. I dunno. We seem to have favourites of who dies and so far it's been Klaus and Tatia - we should mix it up a bit xD ))

"Wait here then," Karl sighed, getting to his feet and heading out of the room, walking to where Kol was and hissing, "Tell Eri you compelled us."

"She deserves a treat every now and then." Vanessa hummed.

"Don't treat me like an idiot," Karl hissed, shoving Kol against the world, "I remember it. I remember you knocking me out, compelling me when I came around, that means you must of compelled Eri too."

"Karl," Astrid hissed, "Stop."

"When the treat isn't your blood I'd agree."

Vanessa just sighed and handed Karina her sippy cup which was now full, to which Karina grinned and started drinking.

Astrid grimaced, pushing Karl gently away from Kol. "Go grab a bloodbag, Karl,"

"You can have some too, if you like." Vanessa offered, sitting down next to him and holding her cut palm up.

"You did though, stop lying. I have no tolerance for liars." He hissed, obviously not dealing with the even further heightened emotions all too well and pushing Astrid into the wall violently when she touched his arm before shoving Kol once again. "Tell. The. Truth."

Astrid flinched at the force she hit the wall and narrowed her eyes at Karl.

"No," Leon replied with a shake of his head.

Vanessa just shrugged at that and leaned into him, curling her legs up underneath her.

"Now, you see, I can get away with this." Kol replied, before pulling Karl into a headlock and twisting his neck.

Astrid grimaced a little bit at the noise Karl's neck made, watching him fall outcold. "Compel him again once he wakes up?" She suggested quietly to Kol.

Leon wrapped an arm around her.

"Can't compel hybrids." Kol wrinkled his nose, "I just have to trust that Eri still thinks he's lying for now."

"Everything's falling into place," Vanessa whispered with a smile, "Holly's happier than I've ever seen her now Nate's back, Karina's getting better, growing bigger and developing more every day. I'm happy, from what I gather you're happy, and now, little LJ's on the way."

Leon nodded in response to that, "Mhmm, I'm happy. Everything is perfect now."

Astrid nodded and slid her arm around Kol quietly, "Hopefully. She's stubborn, so I doubt she'll believe him."
