"I'm just getting a little tired again," Cedrick admitted quietly.

"Of course you are, you're not well."

"Dulcet had a witch that would heal me between sessions. She also had a dampener put on my natural healing abilities," Cedrick yawned softly. "So, when I get better normally, I'll have to shift to break the dampener. I'll do it away from you, if it's okay to shift in the first place."

"I can't forbid you shifting."

"You can." Cedrick took in a shuddering breath, shaking as he tried not to cough.

"You're the most dominant figure in my life. I just automatically gravitate towards you."

"Why am I that person?"

"Because you care. The wolf picks up what you're projecting and feels comforted by it. I don't question his judgement. If Dulcet is the fire, you are the balm the soothes the burn."
Re: Beacon Hills, Home of the Supernatural
"It was the only analogy I could think of from the top of my head." Cedrick moved a hand to impulsively scratch his side, one of the split wounds becoming itchy.

"Right, I have a needle and thread but can't find anything to numb it."

"I can deal with that. Just go ahead." Cedrick wiped his hand clean on the bed without a second thought, closing his eyes to breathe through his nose. "It won't hurt more than what it is now."

"Perfectly sure, though I if you need my shirt off, I can't do it by myself."

"It'd be easier for me to just cut it."

"Then go ahead. I don't feel any attachment to clothes anyway, they're either wearable or not, and if it's in the way, then do what you must."
Re: Beacon Hills, Home of the Supernatural
Ria nodded and used scissors to gently cut away his shirt.

Cedrick barely even twitched, closing his eyes and breathing evenly, though his nostrils flared whenever the scissors came particularly close to any wounds or sore parts.

"You're not comfortable with me doing this are you?"

"I have had many sharp things stuck into me during my life, scissors being one such thing. I'm not comfortable, but I'm not uncomfortable either. My body is just anticipating another injury in a situation like this, that's all."

"Trust me. I won't harm you."
