Caspian was lying on Henriettas bed, it having been a few weeks since he had found his parents and Mary was on the mend, so he was having a lazy morning as he thought about things.

Amora was watching the sea as she perched herself on one of the joints at the front of the ship and she was thinking whether she had done the right thing of letting her parents work for her on the ship.

Mary was in her room.

Henriette was laying beside him, her head rested on his chest as she stared at the wall silently.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked her.

"Not a lot, what about you?"

"Same really."

"Mm,"

"Do you think me and my sister had the right idea of keeping our parents alive?"

"Mhm, I think so, why?"

"I don't."

"Why not?"

"I don't know, I guess its just because I haven't seen them for a long time and I don't know what they're capable of."

"They're your parents sweetheart, I don't think they'd hurt you."

"Yeah I didn't think that parents left their kids, but look at what happened."

"Oh sweetie," She sighed, sitting up on her elbow to press her lips to his gently, "It wasn't right of them to leave you, abandon you basically but… I suppose if you ever had a kid and you made a pretty big mistake I guess you'd want a second chance, hm? Maybe give them one more chance and if they screw it up they can't say you didn't try. I know it's hard, sweetheart, and I'll support you whether you give them another chance or not, okay? I'm here for you to lean on."

"Hmm, what would I do without you?" he asked as he moved a hand down one side of her face before he kissed her gently.

"I reckon you'd be just fine without me," She whispered, kissing him back rather deeply.

He cheekily pulled her on top of him, his hands resting on her butt as they kissed. "No I don't think that I will." He murmured against her lips.

"I don't think I'm that important…"

He pulled out of the kiss. "So eve though I want to spend the rest of my life with a beautiful woman like you, you don't think your important?"

Henriette frowned and shook her head in the negative.
