"I just said think about it, is all." Vanessa shrugged. "If you think about it and say no then, then that's that."

"I noticed you started adding like a million sugars in when I was gone, I'm trying to wean you off them if you haven't noticed." Kol laughed quietly as he sipped his own.

"Yeah… I'll speak to her about it… I guess."

"Fine… I'll think about it." Leon replied with a quiet laugh.

"Yeah… it's really bitter tasting today." Astrid replied with a quiet laugh, "There's nothing wrong with a lot of sugar in the coffee, it's how I coped."

"It kept you awake because you didn't like sleeping." Kol whispered with a frown. "I noticed Asa."

Vanessa grinned at that.

---

"The stage idea sounds pretty sweet though Rik, and like I said, I don't think she'll mind positive attention."

Henrik just gave a small nod in response to that.

"Bed was empty without you… cold …" Astrid replied with a small shrug in response to that, "And I wanted to stay up for Rian's sake too. In case he needed me."

Leon just ate his good quietly then .

"It's hard watching you grow up so fast," Tatia mumbled. "I remember bein pregnant with you, and you and Hope being our miracles because you survived when we didn't expect you to."

"And," Vanessa continued. "Because you've turned me into a giant sap over the years, I bought my old house back in France - the first place we ever lived together. The place you came looking for me." She grinned. "I was thinking we could all vacation there…"

"Well the bed ain't cold anymore, 'cept when I accidentally fall asleep down here."

Astrid just laughed a bit and nodded, getting to her feet and kissing his geek gently, humming a soft, "Mm, but I forgive you for those times."

Leon laughed a little bit at that and gave a small nod in response to that, "Sounds nice,"

Henrik laughed and replied cheerfully, "Sorry, I kinda can't help the growing up thing. It's against my control."

(( Night ))

Vanessa grinned.

Kol gave her a small nod.

"Ah you're forgiven." Tatia laughed.

Henrik just laughed a bit, smiling brightly at her.

"How have you been sleeping, anyway?" Astrid asked quietly, leaning into him a little bit.

Leon rolled his eyes

"Love you Rik," Tatia said quietly, ruffling his hair.

"What's with the eyes?"

"Love you too mum," Henrik whispered with a smile.

"Good," Astrid whispered.

"Nothing."

"I'm glad you're happy, it's all I want for all of you." Tatia said gently, brushing some hair out of his face.

Kol was quiet then, sipping at his drink.

"Must be something."

"As long as I have my family and Kota I am happy," Henrik replied with a quiet laugh.

"When I went shopping the other day I brought you a few things you know." Astrid told him quietly.

"No, it's nothing,"

"Mm? What did you buy?"

"You'll always have your family," Tatia said quietly.

---

"You sure?"

Astrid kissed him on the lips lightly, calling over her shoulder, "Close your eyes,"

"Not when they go off dying all the time," Henrik replied quietly with a small shrug.

Kol wrinkled his nose, closing his eyes.

"I'm sorry Rik, I really am."

Astrid headed out of the room and after a few minutes placed an aluminium baseball bat that had been used by a team member and signed by all of them of Kol's favourite team. "Open your eyes now, if you like. It's fine if you don't like it, I just saw it and couldn't help but get it for you."

Henrik shrugged, "It's okay ,"

"Most of the hunters that attacked ys are dead now, with Malvolio and Violet on their case, I think there's only a few left... I promise I wont leave you again."

Kol opened his eyes and stared down at the bat, face breaking out in a smile. "It's great Asa, thank you."

"Don't know, one of 'em there was Cam's girlfriend. Dont think he'd let Malvolio or Violet hurt her - so she hasn't paid." Henrik pointed out quietly.

Astrid smiled when he did, "I like buying you things, so you don't have to thank me."

"Well if Cameron cared at all about his family he'd give up her location. She killed his mother and sister, if he doesn't make her pay for it then I don't think he's a very good person."

"I do have to thank you," Kol said quietly.

Astrid shook her head, "I said shooting in the dark with it, honestly. Just remembered you liked that team and hoped you hadn't liked changed your mind about them or something. You know I'm clueless with those things. I was just lucky that you like it."

Henrik gave a small nod in response.

Kol just laughed and put the bat down, moving to hug her.

Tatia leaned over and hugged Henrik quietly.

Astrid smiled and hugged him back gently, whispering softly, "I'm glad you like it though, pretty boy…. I can't get over how much I missed you."

Henrik hugged her back.

"From now on I'll always be here for you Rik,"

"Missed you too Asa."

Astrid brushed her fingers through his hair affectionately, remaining silent then.

Henrik just gave a small nod and whispered, "Good,"

"Love you Astrid, always have done."

"If you need anything you know where I am," Tatia said quietly, kissing behind his ear before pulling away and heading out of the room.
