No one is here now to see, we have gone against our raising once today already, if you wish to break down properly. If you wish to cry, or yell or break furniture than it will be between me and you. When my mother passed I do not remember a day I did not see you when I didn't sob into your shoulder. Thaddeus, it is fine to show emotion."

Lilliana took his hand and got to her feet, leaving the room with him silently and whispering after a few moments. "Your father seems to share your dislike of that man your sister is to be wed."

"One or two though they are more business friends than social ones." Vladomir responded.

Sence let out a small sigh, simply sliding her arms around him in a gentle hug. Figuring he needed the comfort whether he were showing it or not.

"And you do not know what starving is like while posh idiots stuff there faces and give their scraps to the hounds. Don't you dare and try to make your life out to be harder than ours. I lost my home today. I no longer even have a roof to shelter from the rain yet alone anything else."

My father has lost a great deal because Vladomir chose to spend alone time with my sister." Lucian explained quietly as he walked her up to her chambers. "I do apologise for his attitude in front of you."

"Not surprising." He muttered.

"Father, please don't."

"I already warned you child, be quiet!"

Vladomir just rolled his eyes and shook his head. Not really responding much more to it than that. Not seeming phased.

"It is fine," Lilliana whispered, "You needn't apologise."

Sence rubbed small circles against his back silently. "You have had such an awful, awful day." She whispered sadly after a minute or two.

Lucian just nodded, stopping when they reached the doors to her chambers. "I know you've already decided that there is nothing you feel for me, your grace, and I do not wish to sound vain, but there are worse men you could marry, other than me. You are kind and gentle and beautiful, and there are men that would destroy that. And I would hate to hear stories of that happening in the future... Even if you do not love me, or even feel anything for me. I would not harm you like another man could."

"But then that is it, is it not? Then there is no going back. I am torn between duty and heart. Despite what your father and yourself think of your sister and that man they must at least feel attraction towards each other in order to cause this much of an upset which is awfully sweet and simply makes me desire that powerful attraction even more. But then there is the point you are making…" She shook her head, whispering in a sad tone, "I do honestly apologies for not feeling attracted to you. It is not that you are an unkind man or a particular bad looking one it just isn't there. I do not mean to upset you as I realise I am probably sounding even harsher as I try to explain myself to you. I apologise for being this way."

"The things that she comes out with are often quite interesting and insightful. In my opinion." Vladomir replied.

Sence tilted her head up to press her lips to his lower jaw line gently, moving one of her hands to his to see if he were trembling slightly or not.

Dragomir remained silent.

But Leonardo is too honourable to even think of anything like that with someone whom society places above him. You could try until you were blue in the face and he would not openly reciprocate your affections, even if he loved you utterly on the inside." he sighed. "In all honesty I am fool enough to propose a betrothal anyway, in hopes you would accept it and be content with having an affair with him behind my back, and I wouldn't stop it because it'd mean that I knew you weren't being abused somewhere else, and you would at least be happy when you were with him."

"I have grown to hate society with all of it impersonal titles and rules. Why we can not all be the same I don't understand. People would be happier then, perhaps not better of but happier." Lilliana replied with a shake if her head, "Why are you being so kind, so foolish, to even suggest that? You must be angry at me. I highly doubt you care that much of my future well-being. All I have seen only fake any sort of caring so they could get there slimy little hands over my fathers wealth and kingdom."

Vladomir just are silently then.

He nodded.
