"I also ran away from you that night."

"Did you?"

"Yes...I-well before I knew what you were. Caleb stopped me."

"That would explain why I didn't notice."

Marie shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose so."

He moved to press a deep kiss to get lips. "Now get some sleep."

Marie blushed as she kissed him back. "May I see you in the morn?"

"Don't worry, I'll still be here when you wake up."

"You will be staying?"

"Yes."

This made her smile as she curled up against him.

He held her close and TRUE to his word, he stayed there until the sun started to rise.

Marie slept in his arms the remainder of the night waking as the sun rose with a small yawn.

"Good morning." He told her quietly.

"Good morning Elijah." She whispered sitting up a little. "Did you sleep?"

"not yet."

"How come?"

"I'm too used to my coffin, sleeping in a normal bed is difficult unless im bordering on exhaustion."

"Oh well then you should get home and get some rest then."

"I don't really need it, so in fine."

"Are you sure Elijah?"

"Yes."

"Alright. Do you um need anything...w-what do you call it when you get the blood you need?" she asked tilting her head a little bit.

"No thanks, in fine."

"How do you know when you need it?"
