She nodded. "Lead the way."

He led her down to the stables.

She walked at his side gripping his hand lightly.

He held her hand.

She rubbed her thumb against his hand.

He brought her to the horses. "Every horse is for you to choose from to use, except the dark brown stallion at the bottom."

"Why not that one?" She asked looking at the one he said she couldn't ride.

"Because Elijah gave him to me and im the only one that he listens to."

"Oh so he is your stallion then?" She asked curiously watching the stallion. "One is Marie's, yes?"

"Yeah." He nodded to which one would be Marie's, and then which one was his brothers.

"Then who do the rest of them belong to?"

"People in the village who pay me to look after them."

"Oh. My riding one is okay though?"

"Yeah."

"How about I just trust you to pick the best one for me?"

He kissed her forehead then led her to a horse.

She smiled warmly at him her eyes then shifting to the horse. "And whom might this lovely one be?"

He smiled at her. "Lauretta."

She smiled warmly rubbing the horses muzzle.

The horse bowed it's head into her hand.

Laura giggled gently.

He watched her, before he tacked up the horse for her.

"You know when I was smaller I was thrown off of a horse, broke my arm and had a concussion" she told him quietly.

"You don't have to ride her if you don't want to you know."

"Oh no I do want to Cal, I was just telling you something. I had a fear of horses for a very long time after that. It took years to get over it but I am alright now."
