Hunters and the Hunted

"He was the only brother that liked me. Shame..."

Aria took in a hitched breath as she watched him, hands curled up by her neck.

"You're also staying to rest?" Death murmured.

"It doesn't matter. I'll leave you to sleep." Faye stepped back towards the door.

"I wasn't properly integrated when Jason learned of his death. I thought he was going to break and then we wouldn't be here for you. They were close. Closer to Stefan than to Ian."

"Faye come here."

She nodded, lying on top of the blanket.

he gently sucked on her skin.

"No, it's okay. Just go back to sleep."

Death watched her quietly.

Aria moaned loudly and moved her hand to her mouth.

"No this time, I want to hear you." Scareth told her, moving her hands out of the way.

Jess looked at him. "Go to sleep."

"Faye, just come here."

Aria let her fingers twitch, clearly getting the urge to move her hands back to her mouth.

"So long as you stay."

Faye hovered in the doorway, clearly wanting to try and go.

Hr pinned her hands there with one of his, using his other hand to pleasure her.

"I will."

Rosco sighed he didn't want her to go, but he wasn't going to force her. "Alright then, if you want to go, then go."

Aria arched towards his hand and bit her lip. It didn't do much to stop her from gasping and then moaning softly.

Death only slowly relaxed before finally falling asleep.

"I think we might be able to have kids now," Faye blurted out and then quickly darted for the stairs.

Scareth kissed a line up her stomach, not dropping what he was doing.

Disco watched her go. "I told you it wouldn't last forever."

Jess watched him, before he too fell asleep.

"Odd really considering Ian is his twin."

"S-Scareth..." Aria managed, shuddering gently as she gave a soft moan again. She briefly pressed her wrists against his grip as if testing it.

Faye hid out in the lounge, where Tuesday was with a recovering Alarick. She looked concerned for Faye when she came in but when Faye said nothing and ignored her, Tuesday went back to helping Alarick.

"Twins aren't supposed to be able to live long because they can affect each other if close enough. If one dies the other is likely to survive. Hence they hate each other and try to kill each other."

"Well I can't recall that happening whilst I've been around."

Sirius watched them, and he walked to his daughters side. "Talk to me Faye."

Scareth smirked slightly, not letting her up and just pleasuring her.

"Its only happened twice. Once involved Ians partner and yourself."

Faye just silently tucked her legs up underneath her and didn't say a word.

Arias fingers twitched and she arched from the table again with another noise, louder this time as she trembled.

Death woke without a sound or even any movement only a few hours later, looking for Jess almost instantly.

Jess was lying on the bed beside him, fast asleep.

Scareth moved to kiss her lips.

Sirius sat with her.

Death quietly touched her cheek and then climbed out of the bed without a sound.

Aria tried her best to kiss him back but was clearly breathless and distracted.

"Did you need us to leave?" Tuesday asked quietly, turning back to Alarick since she wasn't sure if she should make eye contact with Sirius.

Faye looked at him almost suspiciously but she looked almost scared or hurt.

"Avoiding me isn't going to help Tuesday." Sirius told her. "But no, you guys can stay unless you want to move."

"Ready?" Scareth asked her as he removed her clothes along with his own.

Jess stirred at his touch, before she murmured his name in her sleep, obviously dreaming about him.

"Stand offs between me and scarlet aren't rare."

Tuesday winced and mumbled something about wanting to give him space since he was probably angry at her and carried on helping Alarick with his neck.

Faye slowly leaned over until her side was against Sirius and she was using him to keep herself up, looking for comfort in her own way. Seeing Alarick had made her frightened of herself again.

Aria quietly caught her breath for a few more moments before nodding.

Death walked into the en suite and carefully removed his sleeping shirt, examining the festering welts covering his back.

---

"Its a little rarer when all four of you involved though. Stefan was still alive when that fight came about. He was the one who instructed Bree to come over in the first place."

"I remember Bree... I'm sure Jay said she died too."

Sirius pulled his daughter onto his lap as if she was still a kid.

When she gave him her answer, they faded to black, his lips at her throat.

Jess eventually woke up and she looked around. "Death?"

Jadon frowned and then shook his head. "Her terms of service hadn't ended. She was brought back to life to fulfill her duties."

Faye tucked herself close. "I didn't wait for his answer. I don't even know if he heard me. I don't know if he cares."

Death called back where he was quietly, pulling his shirt back on.

"Terms of service?"

"Ask him again." Sirius told her. "Because, believe it or not, he is going to ask you to be his wife one day."

Jess slid out of bed and walked to him, running a hand through her hair.

"She's..." Jadon hesitated. "They aren't human regardless. They were around when I had my own body. Basically, they agree to a contract of terms of their service and we find them a body to work in. So, Bree is just a body with some otherworldly thing in it. We still call her Bree."

"He's probably gone back to sleep and I'm too scared." Faye moved closer to her father, determined not to move.

Death walked out, quietly asking, "Do you require the bathroom?"
