Leon just nodded a little bit, asking quietly, "Should we go inside? Are any of the kids home?"

"No, Kari's at dance and LJ is at a riding lesson... Holly's looking into going back to Paris for another degree." Vanessa said as she got out and headed inside.

Olivia headed into the living room then, collapsing on the sofa with a groan.

Adam just laughed and wandered in after her, sitting down on her legs instead of asking her to budge.

"Mm," Adam hummed, leaning his head back and muttering, "Was fun though, shame you don't drink anymore dad - you could of joined us, or come along next time."

"No, but the thought of having more kids after I thought my first one died scared the shit out of me. Especially when I thought I was going to be an awful father."
