"Nik made it clear we were never going to have another, way before all this. I'd joke about another and he'd seize up and snap and say no. I'd be more upset if he'd entertained the possibility but he didn't, so... I accepted I wasn't having anymore a while ago."

"You can come up now, first door on your right!" Olivia called after a few minutes. When he got up stairs Olivia had already crawled into bed.
