"It won't do anything it'll just make us both miserable!"

"I won't be too far away." Alfdis sighed, pressing her lips to the side of his head before getting to her feet and walking off.

"No one is fond of you though…. So I wouldn't of blamed you if you would of proffered not to come."

"If you and your brother fall out it'll be more miserable for you!"

Bjorn nodded and watched her walk away

"Go speak to her? She'll open up to you,"

"I don't care if they hate me or not, this isn't about them. It's about you and being here when you need me."

"He hasn't spoken to me properly in god knows how long anyway, Olivia." Adam hissed.

Klaus sighed and got to his feet, walking to Vanessa.

Alfdis only returned to where she had left him after a good hour or so.

"Mm…" Malvolio hummed.

Trinity pressed her forehead to his, laying a hand on his cheek.

Bjorn was still staring at the waterfall.

Vanessa was stood over the travel cot in the spare room, just watching Nikolai asleep.

---

"Well go fix it then! It's because of me! Go talk to him, go for a drink or something and work it out!"

He closed his eyes at her touch.

Alfdis sat herself down next to him, wrapping an arm around him gently.

"No because your leaving me because of him! Why the fuck do I want to speak to him after this?!"

---

"Tell me what's wrong," Klaus encouraged as he entered the room.

She kissed him softly then before pulling back.

"I'm losing it. Turning into mum..."

"It's not his fault I'm leaving! I'm leaving of my own free will!"

"I knew you'd hurt him." Kol said as he walked up to them, shaking his head. "I knew it."

Bjorn leaned into her. "We should go home."

"No…" Alfdis denied with a shake of her head, "You can if you want but I want to stay here for a few more hours. If that's okay?"

"No Ollie…. No please don't leave me." Adam pleaded. "I love you…. You can't make me fall for you and then leave."

Astrid had followed Kol and stood at his side, narrowing her eyes at Olivia as she whispered, "Adam, come here…"

"I'm not going to be the reason you and your brother don't talk any more. In a few years time you'll thank me for it." Olivia whispered, turning and walking away.

"You're a selfish bitch Olivia! Always have been." Kol hissed after her.

"I'll stay with you."

"Ollie no…" Adam mumbled, "Don't go…"

Astrid sighed and walked to Adam, wrapping her arm around him and pull him into a hug. "It'll be okay. You don't need her."

"I might be a while…" She warned.

"I don't mind..."

"You can do better than her."

"I'm losing it. Turning into mum..." Vanessa mumbled. "Going insane,"

"I loved her…. Why couldn't she of gone a few months ago, why wait until I love her?"

"Thank you," Alfdis whispered, resting her head on his shoulder gently, "I love you Jorn… glad her and Mal brought you back. I don't know how I would of coped with all of this alone."

"What makes you think that?"

"Don't think about that." Bjorn said quietly as he kissed her forehead.

"Because she's a selfish cow. I told you she'd hurt you." She's probably been waiting for a while and has just been using this as an excuse."

"Because I feel like I'm going to have a breakdown. I have Nate in my ear all the time about the kids and Leon is upset that I don't really let him do much with Nikolai and he shouted at me so I told him what Nate said about him not having Nikolai call Leon dad, Holly is going to shift tonight and there's nothing I can do to help her, I have no one to talk to about anything, Falin hadn't been in touch for years so everything is just building up and sometimes I feel like just walking out and leaving them all to it and then I realise how much of a bad person that makes me!"

"What kind of sick person would finish with someone at funeral…" Astrid mumbled.

"You were her friend once dad…" Adam pointed out quietly to Kol.

Klaus sighed softy in response to that.

"Things happened, we drifted, she got with you and I knew she'd hurt you."

"Nikolai hates me and he's like a month old, Kali and LJ are barely around anymore, Leon is agitated all the time and Nate is always angry at me for some reason. My head is just... Fucked."

"I love you Alfdis." Bjorn said softly.

After waiting a while with no sign of Finn, Sage got out of the car and went searching for him.

Adam just let out a sigh sighed.

"I'm sorry she's hurt you Adam."

Finn was just wandering, angrily kicking stuff.

((Well Mal could go out on a massive killing spree over a period of time in secret, and also in secret Alfdis could keep trying to get witches to bring her back, and the spells combined with the unwitting blood sacrifices would bring her back. And okay))

Adam just frowned deeply and shook his head in the negative, moving away from his mothers and just walking off silently to find Adrian.

Astrid let out a small sigh and watched him go, "How dare she make him happy and then crush him like that, who does she think she is?"

Sage paused when he came into sight, watching for a moment before calling over gently, "Finn?"

"Good," Alfdis whispered, resting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes. "Remember that time we caught Mal sword fighting with Viol, a month or two after you taught him? We left them be though, pretended we didn't see because of how much she wanted to learn how to fight. I remember thinking it was lovely, that he was teaching her what you taught him."

Klaus let out a small sigh, "Stay here for a while, just spend some time alone with Nikolai until you feel more secure about your relationship with him and start feeling better within yourself."

Vanessa just nodded, sighing shakily.

"She's a cow, an utter utter cow. I knew she was using him." Kol sighed.

Adrian was just strolling through the forest in silence.

"Mm, I remember lots of things they did together, they were so close."

"What did she gain though? What did she actually gain by making him fall in love for the first time and then breaking his heart? He's just a kid. How could she do that to just a kid... What is there to gain?"

"So do I.. I'm just thinking of that one." Alfdis whispered, "I remember being so proud of how close they were."

"So, you going to tell me about this bump in the road you had with this girl?" Adam asked as he caught up to him, "Then I'll tell you about the major car crash I just had relationship wise."

Sage paused when he came into sight, watching for a moment before calling over gently, "Finn?"

Klaus pulled her into a hug.

Trinity pressed a soft kiss to his lips.
