Immortal Mansion

The man walked up to Sarah, and started speaking to her in what sounded like Russian, and Sarah replied back in the same language before she got into the car.

He got in silently but raised an eyebrow at her in question.

"He's one of the reasons why I can't go back home." She told him, and she drove off towards the mansion.

He still seemed confused but didn't ask anything.

She looked at him. "When I was in Russia, I done things that I'm not proud of, my whole family did, when people like that man found out about my powers to make nightmares and dreams come to life, they decided to have a little fun with me...Because of them my family were hunted down and killed and I was cast out."

He frowned deeply shuddering slightly.

She looked at the road, then she glanced to her arms before she sighed.

He looked over at her.

She pulled her sleeves further up over her wrists as she drove, it was obviously a self conscious movement that she didn't seem aware of.

"Something the matter?"

"No,.."

"You sure?"

"There are times when I can still feel like I'm back there with that man...I've never told Elsa and Kol, but at times it feels like he has gotten hold of me."

"What do you mean?"

Sarah stopped the car and she looked at him. "It's really hard to explain."

"Don't worry about it then. You're okay though?"

She nodded, and she started driving again.

"Okay good."

She smiled softly as she drove.

He looked from her to the duckling to out the window.

She eventually pulled up outside of the mansion, whilst the duckling had fallen asleep, there was a pretty pissed off Kol waiting for them.

Deluca caught a glimpse of Kol and sighed. "Seems like someone is mad at us."

"Of course I am."

"I'll deal with Kol."

He shook his head getting out to stand beside her. "I went with you so you don't have to deal with it alone."

Sarah smiled softly at him. "Kol, don't freak out."

"Oh, I'm not going to freak out Sarah." He still looked furious as he held his hands out for his keys. "Elsa is worried sick about you, had me looking for you and now I find you taking a joy ride in my car."

"Yep, there's the freak out." Sarah commented, handing him his keys. "And just so you know, it wasn't a joyride, but you really should hide your keys."

"Don't try and act smart in front of your boyfriend Sarah, it's not the wisest o solutions." Kol told her. "Now get inside and apologise to Elsa." He left them to it.
