He squeezed her hand.

Angel snuggled against her father

Both girls smiled lightly.

Elijah watched his daughter.

Calb noticed his mother leave.

"Thank you!" Marie called out suddenly when she noticed that she was leaving.

Laura looked up as well.

The woman nodded, before she closed the door.

He looked at her.

Marie watched her leave.

Laura sat herself back down on the couch.

He moved to sit beside her.

The woman left quietly.

"Maybe a cool bath will help her feel better?"

She laid her head on his shoulder.

"Yeah we can try."

"How are you feeling?" Caleb asked her.

"I'll go set it up for her" Marie told him heading upstairs into the bathroom.

"A bit nausious but not so bad as before..."

Caleb nodded. "Good." He kissed her forehead.

Elijah nodded, watching Marie leave as he moved to sit on the sofa still cradling his daughter.

She smiled softly looking at her niece.

Marie filled the tub with warm water and bubbles before getting the towels and clean clothes for Angel.

Elijah gently brushed some hair from Angel's head and she looked like she was about to throw up.

Calb watched his niece.

"Will she be okay?"

Marie called down to Elijah to bring Angel up a few minutes later.

Elijah carried his daughter upstairs to Marie.

"Yeah, it's what happens to kids, admittedly we probabl could have prepared her with a smaller spell first, before we threw her into the deep end with a full on protection spell, but....." He simply shrugged.

Laura frowned a bit leaning into his side.

"How's so doing Eli?"

He held her close.

Elijah looked at her. "Not good, but it will pass soon."

"I hope so" she took her from him and undressed her putting her into the tub.

Elijah nodded.

Marie went about gently cleaning her up.

Elijah watched them from the doorway.

After washing her up she lifted her from the tub and dried her before dressing her in pajamas.

When she was dressed, Angel clung to her mother.

She carried her to her room humming gently.

Elijah let them pass.
