Saffron sighed softly downing the rest of her drink as she ordered another one.

(( Which test? Theory or practical? That's cool, the waiting list here is months long, I booked in July and the soonest I could get was September haha. ))

Sarai smiled a little bit at that, "Mm, you will," she whispered before musing, "I'm so glad Rhea wasn't ill like I was, no idea what it is so I didn't know of it was genetic, it was one of my worries for her."

"No, no, I'm sorry. I really am." Zacarias assured quietly.

"You sure?" Astrid asked quietly, brushing her fingers through his hair affectionately.

"Up you get then," Mia whispered.

"Life. Life happened." Malvolio replied with a deep sigh before muttering to Saffron, "No drinking, you, I don't want to have to look after you. I'm not in the mood."

Saffron looked at her father and rolled her eyes. "What makes you think I'd need you to look after me?"

((Practical, which means I need to get my theory done ASAP haha))

Jasper got up and stretched.

"Mm," Christian hummed quietly.

Hope said nothing then and just sobbed into his shoulder, shivering and shaking.

"You're not my Mal anymore." Violet whispered sadly.

(( Ah, good luck! The theory is easy, it's just scary the first time haha xD My practical is on the eighth. ))

"I'm your father Saffron, of course I need to look after you." Malvolio hissed, "Seriously, stop the drinking. It's too early for you and I'm really not going to be carrying you home." A few moments later mumbling to Violet, "Your not my Viol either, I'm not the only one who's changed."

Zacarias held her close, reaching over to grab a towel to dry her hair.

"Okay," Astrid whispered.

Mia got to her own feet.

Saffron placed the glass down as her eyes met her fathers. "I'm not a little girl anymore, I know how much I can drink. However I won't argue, I'll see you later?"

"I haven't changed. I'm still stubborn and moody and pessimistic. What's changed about me?"

Hope just trembled in his arms.

Dex kissed her forehead gently.

"Wait mama." Jasper mumbled as he got up and ran towards Mica, hugging her quietly in goodbye.

Mica hugged Jasper back tightly, whispering quietly, "I miss you Jasp,"

Mia waited silently.

Sarai leant back so she could press a deep kiss to his lips.

"You going to smile?" Astrid asked quietly.

Zacarias held her close.

"It's not just my fault we've drifted apart, Violet." Malvolio replied with a shake of his head before hissing in Saffron's direction, "Yes you are. I might, it depends on if you'll actually be home, won't it?"

"I know, wasn't just blaming it on you. I just dont think I've changed at all."

"Miss you too Mica." Jasper whispered quietly.

Christian kissed her back gently.

---

"Anything could've happened." Hope repeated tearfully. "I was terrified."

"Give me a minute sweetheart."

"I'll be home." she whispered quietly before adding an even quieter "See you later dad..." before turning and walking out of the bar so Malvolio wouldn't see how his tone of voice hurt her.

"I think you have, you used to make a little bit of the effort to. When I got with Trin you turned completely against me, made me out to be selfish when I was fucking trying. I've given up now, I can never win with you, I feel like I can never win and my attempts are never appreciated so I've given up."

"Ask Mia if you can spend a few days with me and Lucas? Please? We don't see each other enough…"

Sarai tangled her fingers in his hair.

Zacarias just sighed softly, holding her close.

Astrid was silent then, frowning a bit.

Saffron walked towards Diesel's home then.

"Okay, I'll ask her later when she's in a good mood." Jasper nodded.

"I did try, even went as far as letting dad compel me! It's not my fault se constantly had to be stuck by your side and never let us have time on our own! And when we did he time together you were too worried to do destructive things we used to do!"

Dex just kissed her hand gently.

"Rheas here..."

Hope just sobbed then.

"No I wasn't! We did do things!" Malvolio hissed, "You got dad to compel you not to hate her, it was still me that had to organise everything, make the most effort. As soon as you fucked off you didn't care, me and Cam came looking for you so much I lost count and then you got in with that traveller and that was it."

"Mm," Sarai sighed.

"Well if you don't want me here I'll go. You're the only one I had left I thought I could turn to. Apparently not. I won't bother you again." Violet whispered shakily, getting up and heading out.

"Don't want her seeing anything."

"She's not in a good mood now?" Mica asked with a small frown.

Zacarias held her close, kissing the top of her head gently with a small sigh, "I'm so, so sorry."

Astrid smiled a little bit.

"And you always fucking walk out when you hear something you don't like and you expect me to run after you pleading for forgiveness when I haven't done anything wrong, Viol, nothing!"

Sarai just nodded in understanding.

Diesel was sat just inside, talking quietly to two older looking men.

((Good I hate this phone! It always takes a few minutes to show posts on the rps...stupid lagging thing. Lol))


Saffron walked up to the house knocking lightly on the door.

"I stayed up too late."

Hope said nothing, wiping at her eyes.

"Can we go get Maisie back now? She's too near Kol."

"Well what did you expect me to say?!" Violet cried.

"Maybe when we go home."

"Come on in!" Diesel called.

"Are you scared of him as much as I am, Dex?" Astrid asked hesitantly after remaining quiet for a few minutes, interlocking his fingers with Dexter's.

Sarai just nodded subtly in response to that, "Okay... Hey, how is our savings looking? You think we'll be able to get married this year... or next?" she asked quietly.

"That you were sorry?! That we've both fucked up and we should fix this incase one of us dies like Cameron has, I don't know?!"

Zacarias held her close.

"Ah," Mica replied with a laugh.

Pushing the door Saff walked inside the house and over to where Diesel was silently giving a polite nod at the two others that were there.

"I'm scared of how far he could go."

"Probably next... Depending on what sport Rhea decides she wants to take up. Her constant changing then having us buying all the equipment before dropping the sport is bankrupting us."

"Of course we've both fucked up! But you were just blaming it on me! I know I've fucked up!"

"You can't just do that to me." Hope whimpered. "What if I'd gone into early labor?"

"I'll go to bed early tonight to make her happy and then I'll ask her."

"Mm, I'll try and pack in my current job. Apply to work at the private hospital since you're in the public one. We'd have more money coming in and if I try and sort out my shifts to when Rhea's in school it should be okay. We'll get more money quicker."

"Me too..." Astrid whispered.

Zacarias just let out a deep sigh and held her close, mumbling a quiet apology.

"Okay," Mica whispered with a nod.

"I'm not blaming it on you, I'm trying to have a conversation with you!"

Diesel patted the spot next to him on the sofa for her.

Saffron sat herself down beside him pressing a light kiss to his cheek. "Hey..."
