"Hurts doesn't it!"

"Fuck this. I'm not staying here, not with you. I'll skip ahead." Nikola muttered, turning around.

Isabella made a frustrating noise, shoving the bottle of wine into his hands before turning her back on him. Obviously torn on what to think of him now, wanting to be kind to him but still wanting to make her point - the bottle of wine working as a peace offering.

"You think giving me wine will make me want to stay and listen to you insulting me and my family?"

"Fucking apologise to me and I won't." Isabella mumbled before sighing and muttering, "I want us to be okay."

"We can't be. My mother would flip. I could lose her."

"Come drink that wine with me, the weathers nice... there's a little river not too far away, please?" Isabella asked quietly, "Your mom doesn't have to know, cutie. You said you regretted it earlier; you won't have to regret if you come with me."

"And if she finds out? Your mum went round and harassed her!"

"So you're going to judge me on what my mom has done - again?" She muttered with a roll of her eyes.

"No! I'm just saying if your mum found out she'd probably go round and inform mine!"

"I won't tell her! It can be a secret, Nikki, we're countries away from them... I won't tell mine, anyone, actually... You don't tell anyone... We'll be safe then."

Nikolai was silent as he considered it.

"I worked hard for that bottle of wine, crushed berries with my feet... It's not that particular wine though don't worry." Isabella whispered with a quiet laugh, "But that's how I got it for free. It'll taste better drinking it with someone."

"Okay..." Nikolai nodded. "Okay."

"Should I get us a glass each or are we going to drink it from the bottle?" She asked with a quiet laugh, "I don't know how posh you are yet, pet,"

"I don't mind.. and don't call me pet." Nikolai grimaced. "I'm not an animal, not something that's owned."

((Will be slow whilst I do my hair.))

"I don't mean it like that it's just what I.... sorry." She replied with a sigh before shaking her head and wandering off, assuming he would follow.

Nikolai followed.

Isabella ducked under a fence, wandering across a field and sitting herself down on the grass next to the river bank. "Can you open the wine? Have the first sip if you like.."

Nikola took the bottle, rather than removing the cork he simply and cleanly broke the top of the neck and took a sip.

Isabella kicked her shoes off and moved closer to the river bank, dipping her feet into the water and asking quietly, "So, where've you been before this - or have you only just started?"

"I did all the mountains back home, did Nova Scotia and some places in Canada, then flew to Ireland to see my cousins Siobhan and Ciaran, mostly to check up on them though, nobody's really seen much of them lately. Then I went to Scotland, down through England then into Spain, through to France where my mum and dad are now, then I came down here. I'm planning on doing Austria next, then going to visit my sisters old ballet school in Russia, she's asked me for a few things, then I'll probably do India then go to Australia for a while, maybe see my Aunt Sarai before I go back home."

"Ah, I was in Hong Kong about a week ago, before that Japan. Found out I don't like their kind of food.. The first place I went to was Peru, climbed the mountains there." Isabella whispered, leaning back a bit and reaching her hand out for the bottle of wine so she could have some, "I want to go to Australia and India, maybe we could meet up again there, hm?" she laughed.

"Mm, maybe."

Isabella rolled her eyes, taking the bottle from him and having a few swigs of the wine.
