Jayson sighed rubbing at his head.

((I wanted to show you that thing Beth but I had no idea how!))

"It was kind of difficult to explain when dad came home but..." Paige shrugged. "It had to climb out of the hole in the roof so Gale could actually get out the bathroom."

"It have taught others to dance in this manner. I'm not against it. Are you comfortable?"

"Good luck studying Djinn as a whole. We're very personal and selective creatures."

"I bet it was!" Ian exclaimed laughing still.


"Oh yes I'm fine." Amber replied smiling softly.


Jayson sighed deeply rubbing the back of his head.

"I'm just making you aware."

"Needless to say we were grounded and I figured out that strong emotions trigger the shift."

Leonidas briefly tightened his hands and then slowly started to move, only going at half speed until he was sure she was ready.

"At least no one got hurt."


Amber giggled softly enjoying the movement as she glanced from his face to their feet trying to see if she could learn the steps a little bit.

"At the very least."

Areli came loping back, settling herself stretched out on Paige's lap and accepting a scratch on the back of her neck.

"Let me know if you become uncomfortable or if you wish to go to the standard speed."

Ian nodded his head his eyes shifting over to glimpse Areli when she'd returned. "Mm I've unintentionally harmed people before so yeah.."


Amber tilted her head at him. "What's the standard speed?"

"How have you managed to hurt people before?"

"Just a little quicker than this?"

Giggling again she nodded. "Can we try?"


"Uh shifting. When I wasn't sure how to control it or what was happening...sometimes when I change it's like I'm in a fog I can't tell who's around and whether or not they mean harm to me or ones I'm close with..."

Leonidas nodded, picking up the speed so they were waltzing at the tempo the dance was supposed to go.

"My first few were like. We have a tire iron at home from when I first shifted and dad had to keep my mouth wedged open so I wouldn't bite through anyone."

Ian shuddered slightly. "Doesn't sound at all pleasing." He murmured out loud.


Amber seemed to relax a bit more simply enjoying the dance.

"It was only the first handful of times. The Mishipeshu sort of understood that we're the same and there was no point in freak out."

"The dance is coming to an end. Would you like to continue into another"

"You seem to control it fairly well though now, once changed that is?" He asked.


"I wouldn't at all mind if you'd like to keep dancing."

"I can control it now. Before, it was too much, but now is fine. It's an even relationship we have."

"Continuing to dance is fine with me also," Leonidas replied, smiling softly at her.

"So where do you think we're headed from here? You know the honeymoon and all that."


Amber returned the smile.

"I don't really mind or care. I haven't left the country before so it should be exciting."

"Do you want to continue to waltz? There are few dances that can be conducted this way, with you on my feet. I'd teach you others but they require more dynamic movement."

"Oh I don't mind at all. Whatever is most comfortable for you at the moment." She whispered smiling warmly. "Another time you can teach me to dance on my own."


"Well then hopefully it's somewhere exciting and nice, yeah?"

"Perhaps you could show me a more modern way of dancing?"

"Hopefully." Paige moved to scratch Areli's side and she rolled over gleefully, stretching out and purring, front paws briefly reaching Ian before she curled back in.

Amber nodded her head. "Sure. I wouldn't mind at all. It's more just doing whatever comes to you really and what feels right in the moment."


Ian chuckled reaching over and petting Areli's head.

"You don't get taught certain movements then?"

Areli wriggled slightly, stretching again until she was sprawled with her back legs in Paige's lap and her upper body across Ian's.

"Well yes but the dancing I know is mostly for fun really... there's certain styles of dance."


"Seems that I've acquired a new friend." He laughed.
