The Last Of The Fae

"That may be so but to us we are not the same. Maybe your attitude and tormenting ways is what keeps you from having a friend." He answered running the tips of his fingers over the bark of the tree.


Rowen giggled jogging ahead to keep up with him.


"You're welcome. It was nice meeting you Noah." She smiled softly before turning to leave the way she came.

"Maybe I'm giving you a chance for you to know the real reasons and your just throwing them away right now," Kennedy replied with a small sigh, "Maybe this is exactly why I rarely try to make friends, because of people like you..."

"Oh come on you, speed up!" Wyatt laughed gleefully.

Noah watched her go quietly.

Anders chuckled. "Maybe it's people like you that cause me to act the way I do."


She speed up of course reaching out to try to grab his shirt. "I'm trying, I'm trying!" She giggled.


Faylee slowly made her way next door to her own home where she took up her place on the swing once more.

Wyatt just laughed a little bit at that, leaping over fences when they got to the housed part of the village. Not noticing Noah silently watching them from the window.

"Kennedy."

"Wyatt!" Rowan called giggling happily as she continued to follow him over the fences only slowing briefly if the fence was a bit higher.


Anders raised an eyebrow. "Hmm?"

"Faylee!" Wyatt laughed gleefully, wrapping her arms around her from behind and burying his face in her shoulder like a child, trying to catch his breath.

"My name. My name's Kennedy."

((Faylee or Rowen? Confused cause he was running with Rowen. Lol))


"Oh." He answered looking like he would laugh. "I'm Anders."

(( Through gardens xD Noah saw them, it was Faylee haha ))

"See, that wasn't hard, was it?" Kennedy mumbled.

((Haha yeah I gotcha now. I swear it's still early but I feel like it's two in the morning))

Faylee smiled brightly ruffling his hair with a quiet laugh. "Hey Noah, having fun?"

Rowen fell onto the grass panting loudly but still laughing waving a hand in greeting.



"Maybe. That right there could be my downfall." He smirked at her.

(( It's nearly two in the morning here xD ))

Wyatt just laughed a little bit at that and nodded, "Mhmm, Rowan's slow. I bet even you could beat her in a race." he laughed.

"What? You telling me your name?"

"Hey!" Rowan pouted at him before laughing once more.

She shook her head at the two of them. "Are you sure the two of you aren't siblings?"


"Yup. That or you."

"Nope, nope, nope, nope. I swear on my little toe." What replied with a bright smile. Head jerking up when the door to Noah's house opened and he popped his head out.

"Another one, Rowan. Another one. Stranger." Wyatt whined quietly.

"I haven't done anything to you yet."

Faylee laughed shaking her head at them. "Oh but are you really sure now?" She teased.

Rowen was on her feet and at Wyatt's side the moment the words left her mouth as she looked at Noah.

Looking over to where they were Faylee frowned. "Who Noah? He's my new neighbor he only moved in a few minutes ago."



"Yet being the important word there."

"Stranger. Stranger bad, strangers are so, so, so bad...."

Noah wrinkled his nose as he watched them.

"Noah's not. He's actually quite nice." Faylee replied ruffling his hair once more. "I know some can be bad for you both but not him. Was there more we don't know yet?"

"A Salamander." Wyatt hissed. "Blonde hair, pretty looking. Kept threatening to evaporate the river."

A deep frown formed on her face. "I'll keep an eye out for her but you both keep far far away from her alright?"

Rowen nodded gripping Wyatt's shirt sleeve tightly. "She's really mean. Don't like her, I don't."

"We're going to scare her away." Wyatt hummed proudly. "Make her run far. Water puts fire out, we can frown her!"

"Yet is a three little word that actually isn't that important, not really,"

"Now Wyatt really? Do you think that's such a good idea?"

"I do!" Rowen grinned brightly nodding her head rapidly.



"It is if you mean me harm."

"Yup, yup." Wyatt hummed with a small grin, ducking a little bit to hide behind Faylee when he saw Noah approaching, letting out a sharp hiss from between his teeth.

"I... Thought I'd come and meet some more people." Noah whispered.

"What makes you think I do?"

Rowen stared up at Noah wide eyed as she shuffled backwards nearer to Wyatt tangling her hand in his sleeve still.

"Hey Noah." She greeted smiling warmly a hand reaching back to rub Wyatt's head comfortingly. "This is Wyatt and Rowen they're somewhat...shy..."



"Why wouldn't you after you threatened the other two."

"They're acting like they're children," Noah mused, wrinkling his nose a little bit as he studied them with interest.

"I was playing with them."

Rowen pouted lowering herself down to sit on her knees beside but somewhat behind Wyatt.

"No it's just around here it's mostly people we know but lately a lot of new people have been arriving." She shrugged.


"Playing? You scared them half to death."

"How on this land am I going to evaporate their water? I haven't even gained my abilities yet. Not old enough to." Kennedy snorted softly, "I'm just looking for a bit of warmth that's all, I'm freezing... so cold."

"No, no they're acting like children." Noah frowned, tilting his head a little bit and leaning to the side to study Rowan and Wyatt's ears. "Wow..... Spiked ears, it's almost like they're."

Wyatt jerked away from Noah violently, grabbing a hold of Rowan and pulling her back with him.
