She curled up on herself.

Marie followed.

He pulled the blanket over her and took his jacket back, tucking her in.

Marie watched with a small smile simply happy with his much Elijah also seemed to care for her sister.

"She'll be fine in the morning."

She nodded. "Shall we head to bed ourselves then?"

Laura curled up whimpering and gripping the blankets in her sleep.

"Might as well, it's quite late."

She went to their room shutting the door behind them.

He went with her.

Inside their room she changed into her night things.

Laura spent the night in a restless sleep.

Elijah got ready for bed.

Marie slid into bed waiting for him.

He soon climbed into bed with her.

She curled into his side with a yawn.

He slid his arms around her.

Marie wrapped her own arms around him kissing him gently. "Love you."

"I love you too."

"I know." She smiled closing her eyes.

The next morning Marie got up at her usual time moving from the bed to dress for the day.

Laura having not slept well was up early and showered sitting at the kitchen table just staring at nothing.

Elijah woke up when she did and he looked at her, silently watching her get dressed.

She looked over her shoulder at him and smiled. "Morning."

"Morning to you too."

"Sleep well?" She asked moving to sit beside him kissing him gently.

He kissed her back. "Very, did you?"

"Always when I have you beside me."
