"A very long time." She comfirmed. "And a vampire birth isn't easy princess, your aunt Laura had many problems when she had your cousin."

Angel looked at the ground. "Oh..." She soon stood. "My apologies for asking such things, I'll go to my room now to change into my comfy clothes." She bowed her head before she left the room.

Marie sighed deeply watching her daughter.

Elijah looked at her. "That went rather well."

"She's upset Eli."

"I know." He told her. "But Angel still has to get used to being different, some things will happen quicker to her than they do to mortal children, whilst others will be much slower."

"I know Eli and this is also something you and I have never discussed either."

"I know, so now the topic is out there and creating a rather large 'elephant in the room' situation, do you want to discuss our chance of trying again?"

"Maybe we should that way we're both clear on what we want."

He nodded. "Good idea." He told her as he sat bside her on the floor. "So, you first."

Marie played with a bit of his hair as she looked at him. "If I'm going to be completely honest about this I would like one more child but are we ready for that?"

He looked at her. "It depends on specifically how we're ready." Elijah told her. "But I would like another baby."

"What do you mean by 'how'?" She asked messing with his hair still.

"Emotionally ready, financially ready, is the whole family ready?"

Marie nodded. "Financially I'd say we're alright. Emotionally we are, as is Angel though she still has learning to do...our siblings I'm not so sure."

"We should just ask them...Another time though...Is there anything else that we need to consider or discuss?"

"Are we ready for another child? Will it be easier or harder for me this time?"

He shrugged. "I guess we won't know until we try."

She nodded. "Let's talk with our siblings first though."

He nodded.

She pressed a kiss to his cheek.

He kissed her back.

She smiled at him

He smiled softly.
