3 months later......

"Come on," Grayson almost hissed over his shoulder at Rylee, manoeuvring through hidden routes and alleyways in order to find the route they had planned out to escape, "Quick, quick.... We need to get out before they catch us. I need to find Romeo, come on."

Andrew was quietly hanging around Rylee's leg, scared of the sharp tone. Having not said a word about Romeo despite Grayson having questioned him.

"Some of the chosen have legged it," Christopher mumbled under his breath. "They've disappeared for hours now..."

"I'm coming," She whispered sharply from right behind him a hand wrapped around her brothers just in case. "I can only move so fast with you right in front of me."

"Which ones, we'll find them Chris."

"I'm only right in front of you because I have to wait for you to catch up ever two steps."

"I- I don't want to go back up their Rylee..." Andrew whined quietly, "Can we stay down here? Please.... pretty please..."

"Grayson, Rylee.... That kid."

"Then go Grayson, if we're so much trouble just go a ahead and we'll catch up." She replied sighing deeply as she looked down at Andrew. "Andy...we've been through this already. We'll be free up there, able to do what we please."

Madison frowned deeply. "We'll find them. Wanna split up and start looking?"

"No, no.. Nothing up there. Just bodies, so, so many dead people." Andrew whined with a shake of her head head.

Grayson let out a deep sigh and headed ahead of them quickly.

"Okay, I'll find Andreas…. Keep us updated." Christopher hummed, kissing her gently and freezing when he realised what he'd done.

"Andrew please...we'll go and if it's really that bad we'll come back. I promise." She assured him scooping him up into her arms and hurrying ahead.

"Of course, you have your cell?" Madison asked freezing for a moment at the kiss before giving him a soft smile and walking off before it got to strange.

"No, no!" Andrew screamed, shaking as he struggled to try and get out of her arms.

"I uh... Yeah, yeah I have it..." He whispered before turning and walking in the opposite direction.

"Andrew..." She muttered letting out a deep sigh. "One day that's all..."

She nodded quickly walking away not sure about what just happened so refusing to ask.

"No! No! You got down here first, I only just escaped there! Down here is normal, down here is safe.. It's scary up there Rylee, people die in front of you and if they don't they try and kill you. No! No!" He cried.

Christopher paused to look over his shoulder, watching her go.

"I was taken here Drew...taken when I didn't want to be. I need to see what's happened..." She muttered running a hand through her hair.

If he could see her face he'd know she was just as confused as him but she went about searching for the runaways.

"I'm not going with you!" Andrew yelled, struggling out of her arms and backing away from her. "And if you go you won't come back. You'll get killed up there. I'll have no one then."

Christopher sighed softly before continuing to walk the direction he was going.

Rylee knelt down to be at his level. "Alright stay here then but only in our room, no leaving the room Andrew but I have to go. I promised Grayson I'd help him find his brother..."

She looked everywhere around town.

"His brothers dead...... I watched him die."

Rylee stared at her brother. "You knew him, we're with him and saw him die... Oh Andrew..." She whispered grabbing him and pulling him close. "Why didn't you tell me hm?"

Andrew pushed her away, mumbling, "Go after Grayson and die.... Since being safe is so awful. I'll find those nice Seers and stay with them."

"Andrew.... I just need to catch up with him and bring him back. I'll come back, I promise."
