Us and Them

She opened the door enough so she could show her how she looked.

"I think you look pretty exotic."

Jaylin stepped back to look at the mirror. "Alright, I'll give this a try..."

Esmerelda looked at her. "What do you think?"

"It's strange...I'm not used to this stuff."

She smiled slightly. "Imagine having to wear these things everyday of your life for over a hundred years."

"If I was used to it...why wear it if I don't have to?"

"Just thought I'd give you an idea of the torture this was." She smiled. "Anyway, knowing my brother, this won't be on you long enough to become uncomfrtable." She told her with a cheeky wink.

Jaylin blinked at her. "What do you know that I don't?" She laughed.

"I just know that my brother isn't exactly as cold blooded as people think." She smiled. "I've heard stories from girls that he's had flings with in the past, way before he found you, about what he is like in bed, and trust me I can hear the pair of you." She told her playfully.

She tried not to laugh at all. "That's not my fault at all."

She smiled. "Maybe in the morning, you'll tell me if this poor piece of clothing has survived." She told her.

"Maybe. I'm not one to kiss and tell."

Esmerelda raised an eyebrow. "Well then, we will certainl see how true that is." She smiled.

Jaylin laughed. "Maybe Hunter will thank you himself."

"Maybe." She smiled. "Speaking of said Alpha male, let's buy our goodies and head home, I think we've tortured him with his niece and nephew for long enough."

"Yeah I'm ready to get back but don't let him fool you, he likes the children."

"I know." She smiled and she paid for her outfit, before she waited for Jaylin.

Jaylin changed her clothes and paid for her things following behind her.

She walked beside her quietly.

Esmerelda was also pretty quiet.

"How long have you been with Gavin?" She asked randomly.

"A few years....Maybe about ten, why?"

"No reason really I was just wondering."
