Us and Them

She watched him slightly with a small smile her fingers brushing his cheek as he spoke. The second he got down on one knee words failed her and she couldn't speak she she nodded her head in reply using a free hand to wipe a tear from her cheek.

"You knew about this didn't you?"

"Not about the proposal." She confessed. "That took me by surprise."

Hunter smiled and he slid the ring onto her finger, before he picked her up swung her around, kissing her lips deeply.

Her eyes went to the ring for a split second before she threw her arms around him kissing him back the same way.

He kept the kiss for as long as she did.

She slowly broke the kiss. "I have something for you."

"What is it?" He asked.

She smiled softly pressing the bag into his hand. "Open it."

He took the bag, his eyebrow lifting up rather curiously before he opened it and he stared at the contents for a few minutes, before he picked up the teddy bear and looked at it curiously, before he put it back and he picked up the t-shirt. Looking it all over, he seemed to freeze as he read the writing.

Jaylin seemed to hold her breath as she watched him not saying a word.

"Are you being serious?" He asked her, and it was obvious that he didn't know what else to say.

She nodded slowly chewing her bottom lip her eyes showing that she was nervous he would react badly.

"I'm going to be a dad..." He whispered.

Jaylin nodded slowly. "And a husband. My husband."

He smiled and he pulled her into him.

She hugged him tightly.

He hugged her back.

"Are you happy?"

"Of course I am." He told her. "Are you?"

"Very."

He smiled. "Good."

"We have so much to get ready for now."

"I know." He smiled.

"It's so exciting Hunter!" I can't believe it!"

"Neither can I." He told her.

She smiled brightly.
