Reuniting Tornedalians

Michelle gently brushed her fingers through the hair at the base of his neck as she watched everyone else.

He looked down at her. "Each of us has a story, if you spend forever with us, you will learn it, but it's hard for us to remain together." He told her. "Many things push us apart."

She looked up at him. "I don't like the sound of forever...always sounds better... "she whispered into his ear pressing the tiniest of kisses to his neck.

"Forever is what it is you know." Caleb told her.

She turned her head to look at Caleb. "So is always."

Caleb raised an eyebrow.

She simply smiled looking back at Christian. "Forever and always it's the same as for all eternity to the end of time. Its all the same, isn't it?"

Laura and Marie boutique couldn't help but laugh. "I like her...I like her a lot," Marie whispered to Elijah.

"This should be fun." Elijah smiled.

"To mortals, yes, to people like us, Always is redundant."

She rolled her eyes at him. "And to me 'forever' is cliché. It's boring Christian."

Marie giggled. "Very. I do think that we should try to see if it's possible though, solve that problem now."

"I can make some calls." Elijah suggested. "Or we can go and see them in person."

Christian shrugged slightly.

"Come on...don't be boring..." she teased softly looking up at him.

"You or all of us?"

"You and I and Christian and Michelle." He told her.

"I'm not being boring." he told her.

"Alright. After the children are settled for the night."

She tilted her head. "Good."

Elijah nodded.

Christian looked over at his parents and he caught his father's eye causing him to nod slightly before all of his attention went back to Michelle.

"How long will we be gone?"

She leaned against him.

"Most of the night I'd imagine."

He held her close.

She nodded. "Alright. I'll go get Angel settled then."

He nodded over to where Eric was lounging in the window seat with Angel already in her pjs and dressing gown lying against him and she was asleep.

She laughed softly. "I do belive she's rather fond of him..." Erik I'll bring her to bed if you like"

"Yeah sure." Eric told her and he handed the sleeping Angel to her.

She took Angel up to her bed and tucked her in before going to get ready.

Elijah met her in their room. "It is amusing isn't it?" He asked as he got changed. "That our son has the same taste in creatures as I do."

Marie was changing into more suitable nighttime travel clothing. "What do you mean love, Michelle isn't full human as I was."

"No, but she is still mortal." Elijah reminded her, sliding on his leather jacket. "And mortals are also what keeps him alive."

"Keeps us all alive."
