When they got back to the house, Christian brought her up to their room so that they could talk as she requested.

Michelle sat down taking his hand. "Christian...I love you, you know that right?"

"I should hope so." He told her, watching her.

"Good..don't forget that. I think I need some time...to go over things..."

He nodded. "Take as long as you need, I have forever." He reminded her.

"You'll be okay?"

"You're not the first person to shy away from immortality." He told her. "I'll be fine."

"I'm not shying away...I just need time to think it over..."

"Then take as long as you need." He told her.

She brushed her finger tips along his cheek. "I'll be back...I promise."

He nodded. "I don't doubt you, just be careful, okay?"

"I will be," she whispered pulling him into a tight hug.

He hugged her back.

She kissed his cheek. "Would it be best if I let everyone else know too?"

He nodded. "Probably."

She sighed softly nodding. "Alright."

"I can do it instead if you don't want to."

"No, no it should be me." She whispered getting up to find everyone.

Elijah was downstairs with Angel and he seemed to be teaching her latin as she sat on the sofa with him, reading a passage from one of his older books.

Caleb was sitting on the other sofa, Alexander on his lap and he was helping his son hold his own sippy cup.

Eric was sat in the windowseat that Christian normally occupied and he was reading.

Marie was sat on the other side of Elijah listening to them with a proud smile.

Laura came in from the kitchen with a small snack for both kids.

Michelle entered the room quietly "Can I talk to you all for a moment please?"

Angel looked up at Michelle. "Hi Michelle."

Elijah and Caleb looked over at her.

Alexander was too busy enjoying his soppy cup.

She smiled at Angel.

Marie and Laura both nodded.

"I'm leaving...just for a little while. I have to figure a few things out..."

"Why?" Angel asked looking at Christian. "What did you do?"

Michelle sighed softly. "He didn't do anything wrong Angel. There's just a few things I need to think about."
