Nothing at all happened. She took the cups and went upstairs.

They were quiet for a few minutes before Eric started to get slowly worse, coughing up blood more and more and then it started happening to Angel and Alexander.

Laura, Marie and Michelle were all alarmed. "What's happened? What's going on?"

"Mummy, it hurts." Angel cried.

Christian soon started feeling the effects of whatever was in the blood but he still managed to slide a hand through into his cousin's cell next to him and when Alexander grabbed his hand, Christian started trying to heal him.

Marie didn't feel well herself but she focused on her children. "I know princess, I know. Try to close your eyes and rest..."

Michelle kept trying to shift to get out but wasn't able to.

The more Caleb healed his cousin the weaker he got bit when Alexander was a bit better he tried to do the same with Eric. "Eric come on." Christian told him but Eric's body had given up and he was face down on the floor.

Angel screamed at seeing Eric and her scream caused the bars of her cage to shake violently.

All the screaming did was bring Jessica down and she stared into the cage with a look of pure confusion.

"Angel stop its alright." Elijah told her daughter and she stopped screaming.

"I hope you're happy." Christian told Jessica. "If he doesn't get proper blood soon, you've killed him."

Jessica turned and walked out without a word. It might have appeared as if she didn't even care.

Michelle had worn herself out trying to force a shift.

Marie and Laura were both pacing again and muttering to themselves.

As it turned out Jessie returned rather quickly with a jug of blood, glasses and a few other things. Without a sound she unlocked just Eric's cell and went inside locking it behind her. Kneeling down she poured a glass full of blood into the cup and held it out to him.

Eric couldn't actually fully move but he pushed the blood away. "I don't need anything from you."

"It's fresh, I swear...I went and got it myself..." she replied in a tone only loud enough for him to hear. "Drink it..."

"I don't need anything from you." He told her. "You've done enough."

"I didn't make you sick..."

"No, but you put us here." He told her. "You told the Hunter's everything, Michelle followed you and found out everything." He told her. "So well done, you might have got all of us killed. Do you think my sister deserves that?" He asked, looking over to Angel who was curled up in the foetal position crying silently. "Or my cousin?" He asked her. "I'd rather die than receive anything else from you." He told her.

"I know what I did. I don't need a reminder. If you don't want it then fine." She rose to her feet and unlocked the cell walking out. The cell was left unlocked. Whether or not it was done intentionally was uncertain.

Eric noticed that the cell was unlocked and he got to his feet carefully pushing it open bracing himself to be attacked.

Jessica was the only one in the place and she wasn't about to do anything.

Eric managed to get his parents out before his strength hit a low bit Elijah got the others out and when Angel was out she ran to her parents as Alexander ran to his parents.

Laura scooped her son into her arms holding him tightly.

Marie basically did the same thing with Angel.

Michelle hung back just a bit for a moment. "Christian we need to get Eric out of here"

Alexander snuggled close to his mum, looking over at Eric wwho almost hit the floor but was caught by Elijah.

"Come on son, I've got you." Elijah told him and they led the family out of the rooms they were in, Christian leading the way with Caleb to provide some cover.

Both Marie and Laura kept the children close to them making sure they're safe. While Michelle helped with Eric.

Jessica heard them all but did nothing to stop them.

When they were finally home Elijah went out to find something for the family to drink from as Christian knelt beside his brother keeping watch.

Marie went along with Elijah to help him. Laura remained at the house to care for the children, while Michelle helped out with Eric.

Caleb kept his eyes on the world outside the house as Elijah hunted.

"How is it out there?" Laura asked coming up behind her husband and sliding her arms around him.
