"I see. Why don't you go see her...see if she remembers?"

"Will you come with me?" He asked.

"I will if you'd like me to."

He nodded.

"Tomorrow after breakfast. Tonight you get a good night's rest."

He nodded.

"Alright. Sleep now," she told him smoothing is hair like she would a child and getting up. "Good night Eric."

"Good night mother."

She smiled softly leaving his room.

Eric lay back on his bed.

Marie returned downstairs to the others.

Elijah looked at her and he was just with Caleb and Laura since the kids had all gone up to bed, neither of the brothers wanted to go to bed incase happened to any of them.

Michelle had gone up to bed as well.

Marie sat herself down at her husbands side leaning against him and she very quietly explained to them what all was bothering Eric and about the lady they were going to see the next day.

Elijah nodded. "Alright, but be careful." Elijah told her.

Christian was sat on the edge of his and Michelle's bed waiting for her.

Michelle joined him sitting down beside him and taking his hand.

"I always am Eli, you know that."

Elijah nodded. "I'm not taking any chances."

Caleb looked over at them before he looked back out the window.

He held her hand gently, kissing her knuckles.

"I know Elijah but we'll be alright, it's very close by."

Laura walked over and wrapped her arms around him from behind.

She smiled softly at him. "Are you sure you're alright?"

He nodded. "Are you?"

He held her close.

"Alright." He told her.

Michelle nodded. "Perfectly. Nothing that won't heal in time."

She smiled softly. "Go get some rest. We can take shifts sitting here."

"You first." Elijah told her, and he didn't really leave much room for an argument, but he knew she would argue anyway, it was one of the reasons why he loved her.

"No because of I go then you won't. Either you come with me now or I remain here with you."

"She's stubborn Elijah, you should know that." Caleb called over. "Look, you and Marie keep watch and then Laura and I will take over in about 6 hours?"

"Sounds fair."

Marie agreed without question sitting herself down once more beside her husband.

Laura looked at them and laughed softly. "Come on Cal, let's go get some rest."

Caleb took her hand, leading her upstairs.

Elijah slid an arm around Marie.

She walked upstairs with him.

Marie settled herself against his side.
