Koen rolled his eyes. "I'll see you in a little bit, okay?"

She nodded. "Okay." She told him with a soft smile.

He kissed her forehead before leaving.

She smiled softly.

He headed home to clean up their house and get things ready for when she was released.

Whilst he was gone, Hermione was helped to wash and dress, her stitches were taken out and she was allowed to walk around the ward.

When he returned some time later he was slightly surprised not seeing her in her room.

Hermione was sitting in a windowsill with a nurse and she was watching the world outside of the window. She wasn't far from her room just in the opposite direction to where Koen would have walked.

After speaking with a nurse that recognized him he walked the other way to find her.

Hermione was still sat on the window sill with her nurse. "Will I ever be able to have children?" The doctor had told her about the amount of damage and she was worried.

"I don't see why not." The nurse told her. "There are loads of people with your gift and with the same damage that you have who are perfectly capable of having children."

"Hey, look at you all out and about," he commented joining them.

Hermione looked up at his voice and she smiled at him. "It's nice to be out of bed."

He nodded. "Feeling better than?"

She nodded. "Much."

"That's good."

She smiled. "Come and sit with me?" She asked as the nurse excused herself to carry on with seeing her other patients.

He nodded moving to sit beside her and taking her hand.

She slid her hand into his, watching their hands.

He looked out the window for a moment. "Have they said when you can go home?"

"tonight hopefully." She told him.

"Yeah? That would be really nice."

She nodded. "It would."

He nodded.

She smiled.

"I bet you're ready to get out of here, huh?"
