A few years had passed and Rachelle was doing her homework at Daniel's kitchen table as she waited for Alexis who was helping Daniel to sort some things out in his place.

Koby still hadn't come home in that many years, he was leaning against the window of the place he and Lily had spent a few days in as Ghost sat at his feet.

"Now this is old," Daniel hummed, looking through an old wooden box at all of the old parchment paper and clothss. "I havent looked thriugh this box in a long time."

"When was the last time you... Done them... You know... The..."

He looked at her. "Three days ago." He told her. "Why do you ask?"

Alexis looked over. "What did you find?"

"I just.. Want to know when you'll let me be there for you, that's all. Surely it isnt too soon now? Its been years."

"A lot of things. Come look."

She moved over to sit beside him.

"I know." He told her. "You will be able to, but I like so how long I can last."

"No.. Next time Koby. Your hiding part of yourself from me and its been too long now. It just makes me nervous."

"That was my girl," Daniel hummed as he unfolded a piece of paper with a portrait of a girl the age of eight on it. Her eyes matchinf Daniel's exactly.

"She's beautiful," Alexis told him.

He nodded.

"Mm, she was. It was the last one we had done of her before we lost her."

"When will be next time?"

Alexis nodded and she glanced over at Rachelle, she couldn't imagine how he felt as she couldn't imagine losing her little girl.

"How did you lose her?" Rachelle asked.

He shrugged. "I'm not sure."

"A fire, her and her mother perished. I was out, preparing to go off and fight and when I returned the house was nothing but ashes. They never even found their bodies. There was just... Nothing."

Lilly sighed.

Koby looked at her. "So, what's the agenda for today?"

Alexis rested a hand on his shoulder, she didn't know what else to do.

"Oh..."

"Mm," Daniel hummed, "It's fine, I came to terns with it all a long time ago." he whispered, putting the drawing back into the box.

"Do you want to go back, see your sister?"

He shrugged. "Maybe, I don't know really."

Alexis smiled softly, kissing his cheek.

"Well, that's my suggestion. If you don't like it then you can decide," She hummed, heading into the kitchen to make herself a drink.

"When are you and the monster going to move into here properly? You spend enough time in my room after all."

She looked at him. "When you ask me properly and admit that said little monster already steals your wifi, your food and your television." She told him.

Koby looked at her. "Would you go with me?"

"And what if that was me asking properly?" He asked with a warm smile. "Then when the siblings from hell arrive home finally they could take up residence at yours."

"Yeah, I wanna see my brother too."

Alexis looked at him. "Do you want your sister to hate me even more?" She asked with a warm smile.

"Then we could leave later on today if you have nothing else you want to do." He told her. "I do miss my niece."

"We could leave now, if you'd like to. I don't have any plans."

"She'd love it, she's besotted with Koby."

"Then we had best start packing up." He told her.

Alexis smiled. "Well she must if she's not sick of him yet."

Lily nodded and done so, thirty minutes later getting into the passengers side of the car and putting her seat belt on.

"They've spent the past three years travelling together, they're good."

She smiled. "Well then, Rachelle what do you think?"

Rachelle looked at them. "I'd like to move in, Danny's great."

He put their things in the back of the car as Ghost got into the back and he got into the driver's seat and he started driving.

Lilly turned the radio up louder when a good song came on, singing along quietly.

"Great."

Koby smiled as he listened.
____

She smiled. "Start tomorrow?" She asked. "Because we are not going to be able to move our things in when we haven't even sorted these boxes." She told him playfully.

Daniel nodded, "Sounds like a plan to me."
____
She went quiet after about an hour, having fallen asleep.

She kissed his cheek again, before they continued to sort through the boxes.

Koby glanced over at her and he smiled slightly.
