Immortal Mansion

The sight nearly broke her heart again and she had to turn away for a few moments.

Dean walked over to her after he had settled Deanna. "I'm sorry, Peter just told me...I know that you loved him."

She shook her head. "I don't want to talk about it... "

"Then when you are ready, I'm here." He told her. "So, do you want to go back to the house? Or was there another reason that you came out here?"

"Sarah would like if you came inside with Deanna..."

"Okay." He nodded.

She nodded and headed back inside to Sarah's room.

He followed her.

She knocked on the door before going inside again.

Sarah was still in bed, talking to Deluca on the phone, telling him to get here so that he could see Brooke for himself.

She leaned against the wall gesturing Dean to come inside.

Deluca said he would be there shortly.

Sarah ended the call with her usual love you and she smiled at them. "Hello there."

"Hi." Dean told her as he walked into the room.

Brooke nodded mainly watching her daughter.

Dan held the baby as he sat in a chair nearby.

She was quiet even more unsure of what to say now.

"So, Dean," Sarah started. "You think that you can look after Deanna and Brooke?"

Brooke raised an eyebrow at this question wondering what this was about.

Dean looked at Sarah and he nodded. "I can, I have a house by the lake, fully furnished and Brooke and Deanna seemed to sleep okay there last night, and I have a job."

She had turned to look out the window.

Deluca walked in just then setting a bag of food down on the bed.

"You are a star." Sarah smiled at her boyfriend. "By the way, this is Dean."

He chuckled kissing her softly before looking at Dean. "What did I miss?"

Sarah filled him in.

He sighed. "So she's not coming home?"

"Peter isn't, I don't know about Brooke."

"I don't know... maybe. I can't think clearly right now..."

He sighed leaning his head back on the wall.
