He sighed remaining in the kitchen with Jeanna. "Do you need any help with anything?"

"No I'm fine thanks." She told him. "Whose at the door Kayla?" She asked and Kayla walked back with two people from the portrait Kayla showed of her parents, they looked rich.

Remy nodded slowly turning to look towards Kayla and the two people that were her parents.

Kayla walked to him. "Mum, dad, this is Remy, he's my boyfriend." She told them.

"Well, I must say, I expected more." Her mother told her.

Remy was quiet for a moment or two before offering his hand. "It's a pleasure to finally get a chance to meet you both."

Her father shook his hand.

Remy smiled slightly but said nothing else.

"Well let's all sit and eat, we can't let dinner get cold."

He nodded pulling a chair out for Kayla.

Kayla sat next to him and she smiled softly before Jeanna served their meal.

Remy sat down beside her giving her a smile in return.

She smiled softly and when everyone was served she started to eat.

He looked over at her first before he started to eat.

She ate the while thing before she went to wash the dishes.

He got up to help her.

She smiled softly. "So, what did you say your name was?" Her mother asked.

He smiled back at her before looking over his shoulder when her mother spoke to him. "Remy. My name is Remington Edwards and he's Hudson," he spoke politely nodding his head at his young lion Daemon companion that was laying near the doorway.

"Such a high state name." Hermother hummed.

He nodded. "It was my great grandfathers name."

"He sounds like an interesting man."

He smiled a little. "He is."

She nodded. "So, what do you do?"

"I.. go to school?"

"No part time little thing like Kayla?"

"Oh, yes, ma'am. I help my cousin most days with construction work when he allows me to."
