"Hey, being a wolf isn't any better." He told her. "People call what they don't understand."

She kept a hold of his hand as they walked.

He walked with her.

Michelle walked with no real direction in mind.

"Ah, but you get to be fluffy and when you lose control and hurt someone its just called a wolf attack and you have animal right activists defending you; saying thats what you get for building on forests and things. Me... My breed on monster isn't remotely cute. I am not even fully one. Makes me even stranger. Like a vampire with only the bad bits; only the blood lust and sensitivities but none of the strength or speed or scent tracking."

She rubbed her thumb against his hand as they walked.

"I think you're cute." Koby told her. "If you were a full we couldn't be friends."

He returned the action, lifting her hand to his lips and kissing her.

She smiled at the gesture. "Being sweet today, are you?" she teased.

"Mm," Peyton hummed, leaning her head against his and tightening her arms around him slightly. Closing her eyes and enjoying the closeness.

He slid his arms around her.

"Maybe." Christian told her.

"Ok," She whispered, "Time for me to get you home, you've been through enough today."

"Jeni." Christopher whispered, grimacing and giving an apolgetic look when he saw that she was with customers. "I uh- need to talk to you. It's important."

"Yeah... Good idea."

Jeni looked over at him and she nodded. "Okay, will you excuse me for a minute?" She asked the customer and she brought him into her office. "What's the matter?"

Peyton got to her feet then, offering him a hand to help him up. "What did you mean on the phone.. About me being the best thing to happen to youin this town?"

Christopher followed her close behind, pacing once they got into her office. "Isaac. He's missing. I- I had a shower, I came back and a window was smashed in his bedroom, blood on the edges of the broken glass. Someone has taken him."

She looked at him. "Okay, don't panic, we will find him." She told him resting a hand on his shoulder. "Let me let the girls know I'm leaving and we will start looking for him together."

"Well I thought I was going to die." He told her. "I wanted you to know that."

"But what does that even mean? I mean - how? We haven't known each other long." She whispered, pulling him up to his feet. Resting her hand on his shoulder to give him extra support.

"I'm already panicking." He answered. Seeming more sullen and quiet to how he normally was, even his pacing was gentle.

"You're the only friend I've got." He told her.

She turned him to look at her. "Come on, this isn't you," She told him. "You're a fearless hunter who doesn't let anything scare or worry him, not even this, because we are going to get him back." She told him, before she left the room, letting her receptionist and the other vet know that she was going out on an emergency, before she came back, took off her vet coat and left it at her desk, pulling on her jacket. "Come on, let's go." She told him.

"I'm not scared," He mumbled defensively as he headed out of the building and towards the centre of town. "I'm not scared, I'm not worried. I am angry, livid. I am thinking of a thousand different ways to make whoever took him pay and none of them are good enough as of yet."

Peyton just smiled slightly at that, "As soon as you catch up on some sleep, we're going to have to track the people that done this to you down."

"That's the Christopher I know and love." She said it quietly as she followed him, being a werewolf she still had wolf senses even in her human form, so she was following the scent more than anything.

He nodded.

"Love?" Christopher chuckled, every so often glancing over his shoulder to her to make sure she still had a scent. Normally able to work out where his brother was based on instinct, in times like thos he doubted himself.

Peyton rested a hand on the centre of his back and guided him out of the building.

(( So one option is we could go a werewolf pack captured Isaac - one that obviously has something against Christopher - and on their way back to Koby's home, Koby catches the scentof these other wolves along with human blood - goes to investigate, recognises Isaac and then we wing it as it would all depend on Koby's reaction? ))

(that sounds like a good idea, say the pack was the same one that tried to kill issac))

Jeni soon brought them to what could only be described as a wolves den, it was a dark cave, wolf and human tracks in the entrance. "Christopher..." She knew whose pack this was, and it did not exactly fill her with confidence.

Koby walked with her and the further away from the warehouse they got, he started to catch the scent of something. A local pack and...blood.

Peyton's nostils fled at the scent of the human blood, biting her lower lip to stop herself from salivating. Her gaze going toward the direction of the blood.

"Who are they?" He whispered.

"One of the worst packs here...They really have an agenda against hunters." She told him.

"Let's go and see." Koby told her and they soon came across Jeni and Christopher.

"I fancy a new wolf ski- oh really, you show up. What the fuck do you want officer." Christopher snapped quietly at Koby; curling his fingers into hos palm to form knuckles. "You have something to do with this? You're on my hit list too."

Peyton narrowed her eyes at Christopher's threat, her fangs sharpening the closer to the smell of blood she got fo the point they would now be visible.

Jeni kept close to Christopher, she wasn't that fused about Koby, she could take him, Peyton was someone she didn't know so she wasn't taking chances.

"Would it help if I said that I could offer my help to solve whatever problem you're having, but if that's your attitude, then I guess we will just go."
