Eyes following the movements of a deer just off in the distance; having been barely feedingin an act of rebellion, trying to prove to herself, Koby and the rest of the pack that she was still the same as she used to be.

Peyton wrinkled her nose, moving back up into the trees and heading toward where Koby was with the pack to check on them. Increasing her speed as more gunshots echoed around the forest.
