She returned the smile

A few weeks later, Alexis was sat in hers and Daniels bedroom, she was meant to be at work but this was important. Rachelle was at college and Koby was at work, she wasn't aware who was in the house, but she had text Daniel requesting him to come home as soon as possible as she sat there fiddling with her engagement ring.

"Hey, sorry it took so long; I got stuck in traffic and then a road was closed." Daniel called cheerily as he walked into the house, closing the door behind himself.

Alexis looked up. "I'm in the bedroom." She called out to him.

"Everything ok?" He called, heading up the stairs with a small frown.

She remained sat on their bedand she looked at him when he came in, she was still dressed in her doctors coat. "Daniel, there's something that you need to know"

"Whats wrong?" Daniel asked with a frown, pausing in the doorway as he looked her over. "Are you okay?"
