Koby moved to sit next to her, the baby now back to sleep and he slid his free arm around her. "I guess I'm just used to bei g called Koby."

"Alexis have any name changes she's kept from me?"

"You really need to talk to her more about her past," Lilly whispered to her brother, leaning heavily into Koby. "I know most things about his."

"No, Lex has always been Lex." He told him. "But Lilys right, even if Alexis did change her name, she doesn't actually have to tell you."

"I never said she did and nor did Lilly say that either.' Daniel replied with an eye roll, reaching over to take his son back off of him

"Boys, don't start fighting over not-"

"Nothing?! No, both he and Alexis have both been biting my heads off when I've just been suggesting nice things. Or asking questions. Too used to me barely saying a word."

"Dan..."

"Lily was right about you talking to her about her past." Koby told him, handing the baby back.

The baby was looking around at everyone and he started whimpering before he burst into full on tears.

"Why would I do that? I'm not allowed to say a kword around any of you." Daniel muttered, leaving the room with the baby.

Lilly sighed, watching them leave.

"He's been like this since Alexis refused to finish working when he wanted." He sighed.

The baby continued to cry in his father's arms.

Daniel held the baby close to his chest, bouncing him gently.

"Was he fair to tell her that or was he just being a worry guts?"

"They argued whilst she was in labour, he told he that he would leave whilst she was in labour." He told her. "I nearly lost my sister and he's walking round in what appears to be without a care and continuing to make her feel like shit." He sighed. "If he truly knew my sister he would have known that she would not stop work until she absolutely had to, her boss threatened her with suspension because she wasnt herself and he sees that as a negative."

The baby calmer slightly.

"I mean.. Being threatened with susoension os a negative, Koby." Lilly whispered. "Working yourself sick is a negative. Dan isn't the best at timings, not when he is emotional. He's like a volcano, dormant until he explodes. They've probably sorted it by now, and he'd get criticism if he was walking around all moping when they'd just had a baby too, wouldn't he? He loves her, wouldn't ever intentionally hurt her feelings and she would never hurt his intentionally either. They never fight, it was bound to happen eventually."

"I bet your hungry, hm?" Daniel hummed, "Lets get you back to your mum."

"His timing isn't just bad Lily, this sucks."He told her." I walked past their room earlier, honestly you could cut the tension with a knife, damned if I'm going to have Alexis live her live scared to say something in case of upsetting him. "

Alexis was sat on her hospital bed, she looked better now that she had showered and washed her hair, her brunette. Waves loose down her back as she read a book.

"And I'm not going to let Dan feel like he has to be perfect and understanding all the time, he is allowed to disagree with things. Allowed to get angry and upset sometimes." Lilly mumbled. "Back off of him, they can sort it out themselves. We don't need to get involved."

"Someone is missing you already," Daniel whispered as he walked in.

"And yet it sounds like you're trying to argue with me." He told her as he got up.

Alexis looked up and she smiled softly. "You or the baby?" She asked.

"Probably because we are," Lilly whispered, "But we always argue, it's healthy to argue. They dont get iinvolved in our arguments. We shouldn't get involved in theres. Now sit back down? Was enjoying the hug."

"Both of us,"

He nodded, moving back to cuddle her, pulling her to sit in front of him so that he could hug her properly.

She smiled, moving so he had rook. To join her on the bed.

Daniel sit beside her, passing the baby over to her.

Lilly slid her arms around him to hug him back, whispering, "I hate to think of all the things you went through, abuse you put up with back in the day. Wish I would of been alive, been there to hold you."

She held the baby gently. "What did Lily and Koby think of him?" She asked.

He smiled softly. "Don't worry so much, it's in the past."

"I would of beaten them up though, thats al I'm saying."

She nodded. "Are you hungry?"

"I'm fine, I think baby is though."

"They would of been quaking in their boots."

She looked to the baby who was whimpering. "Are you hungry are you?" She asked before she got him a bottle that a nurse showed her how to make.

He smiled. "Oh most definitely."

"I know how to do it, the bottles; all of it...." Daniel whispered, "Let me teach you stuff?"

"Mm," Lilly hummed with a smile

She nodded. "Yeah sure." She looked from him to the baby and then back. "How exactly do you do this feeding thing? She asked. "I'm worried that I'll drop him or he won't get enough."

Koby kissed her head. "You were going to tell me about the baby weren't you?" He asked her quietly.
